This man is a thief, I booked with him for our wedding, and he asked for prepay, he sounded trustworthy (I know, stupid) so I paid him the 500.00 for our wedding. A week before our wedding he cancelled, he double booked himself. Of course at first I was stressed but I figured out a solution fairly quickly, and figured we all make mistakes so I wouldn't overreact.

I told him I got his message about canceling but I really need our money back because now we need to pay another d.j. Our wedding was June 10, 2021, I have avoided reviewing him in hopes to get our money back, but after numerous texts with either no response or false promises, it's become apparent that we are not getting anything. I have watched his fb page as he posts event after event and then tells me he can't pay me, I will tell u I have researched this guy, This is not the first time he has done this, and I have no doubt that it won't be the last, DONT HIRE HIM!

Very pleased with Schroeder's DJ services. He performed at my daughter's wedding and was very accommodating, even through some miscommunication (on our part) and stayed late to make sure that we had a great time! We had even changed the date and the venue and he assured us each time that he would be there for us.

Brad was friendly and professional at the same time. He liked to be interactive with the crowd. Brad let us know what he needed for set. He also kept in contact with my daughter the bride so she could tell him what songs she wanted played and when to play them. We were very pleased with Brad's services. Thank you Kara Reber

I'm writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of DJ Brad Schroeder. I've known him for over 40 years I've never met a person with such a love and passion for music. It didn't surprise me at all that he picked a profession involving music. Over the years I've been to several events from weddings to karaoke where Brad was the DJ. He does a great job of keeping his audience entertained. If I have a need a DJ service Brad would be the first person I'd call to see if he's available. You should too.

Horrible DJ. I've been to 2 weddings that Brad Schroeder has DJ-ed and both were atrocious. Not only is he cocky and arrogant, at my best friend's wedding in the middle of the reception, his equipment was so bad, the sound went completely out and he had zero back up which completely killed the reception vibe. Also, during the ceremony and the speeches, the audio was crackled, extremely choppy, couldn't understand what was being said exactly and the worst part was Brad Schroeder was unapologetic and acted as if he could care less. Please, please, please beware of this DJ. I would highly NOT recommend.

Brad did a good job at our wedding. He accommodated requests and last minute changes by guests. He made sure that he had everything ironed out as much as possible prior to the wedding as well so there was one less thing for us to worry about.

Brad Schroeder was the DJ for my co-worker's wedding in Decatur. He provided music and equipment for both the wedding ceremony and reception. The events were held outdoors, and the evening went smoothly with people dancing into the early evening. He announced all formalities and kept things moving throughout the night. I wanted to thank Brad Schroeder's DJ Service for his job at my wedding. He played all of my requests and was great taking my friends requests. The music volume was perfect for the night. Brad Schroeder was the DJ for our wedding in November 2018, held at the Route 66 Hotel in Springfield. Brad provided his services for both our wedding and the reception which were held at the same venue. Prior to the date of our wedding, we met with Brad several times to review musical choices and the other pertinent details related to the ceremony and reception to ensure everything would run smoothly, nothing would be overlooked and there would be no surprises the day of the event.

The wedding ceremony was small and intimate, which was important to us and the highlight of the day. Brad was spot on with the music played during the ceremony and we were very pleased with the selections he chose based on our tastes shared during our meetings. Brad transitioned to the area set up for the reception while we were having pictures taken.

During that time, he kept the guests entertained with background music and general update announcements. He was very conscientious of keeping the event on schedule with the timing of the necessary announcements related to dinner, cutting the cake and the various dances. The reception room was large and there were no problems with hearing him speak during any of the announcements or the transitions between songs played throughout the evening.

In addition to the songs we wanted Brad to play during the reception, he took requests from the guests. The dance floor lit up with the flashing lights he provided and the up-lights placed around the room were a nice addition. Our wedding ceremony and reception were enjoyable and we are more than happy to recommend Brad and Schroeder's DJ Service for future events of any kind. Kara & Marty
