The Judi T. Dance Studio is dedicated to providing a creative and professional atmosphere where our students can develop skills, build self-esteem and make memories for a lifetime. We welcome all students to experience our family atmosphere. Our caring staff takes pride in working to develop each individuals personal potential and continues to expand their knowledge in order to stay current with the many changes in style and forms of dance that we teach.Our goal is for each student to experience an appreciation of the arts, while building respect and pride in their accomplishments.

My dream of opening and operating a dance studio became a reality over forty years ago. The Judi T. Dance Studio evolved with high hopes and dreams of sharing my love and passion of dance with everyone. Today, I am fortunate enough that my two daughters share my same passion and together we do everything we can to make Judi T.

Class Descriptions

Report

Dancers will learn various Tahitian, Maori, and Hawaiian styles of dance. Students will learn hula movements and terminology, utilizing them in learning ancient style hulas (Kahiko) and modern style hulas ('Auana). Students will also learn to use hula implements such as the ipu (gourd), pu'ili (a split bamboo rod), the 'uli 'uli (feathered gourd rattle), and also the Maori poi ball.

The Judi T. Dance Company is run under the direction of Miss Lauren. The team is made up of advanced dancers in 3 various levels; minis, juniors and seniors who are chosen by studio staff and director. Dancers must be enrolled in all styles of classes offered at the studio and accept a private invitation.
