My feeling is the Long Beach Museum of Art is one of the best in the state. I visit often and they always have new and wonderful things to see and enjoy. I always take out of town visitors to see it and enjoy the beautiful displays of art. Besure to visit when you're in town.

Perhaps my expectations are too high. I thought this museum was run down and there wasn't much to do. The Children's Museum if Lincoln, Nebraska is probably the best children's museum we have visited.

The retreat center at Mission San Luis Rey is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, and the food is pretty good. The grounds are gorgeous, although some of the artwork in the old church is pretty gruesome. The gift shop is nice, as is the museum. It is a really beautiful place, architecturally.

I always ask for my chicken well done & sauce on the side, and they always do it right! One time the place was totally packed & they missed the sauce, so they gave me a combo bowl at half the price. What a service!

Found the grounds of the park well kept and beautiful, the home of Mrs. London, now the museum, a gorgeous home. The Park Custodian Rangers were exceptionally helpful with information of the London family with great pointers as to what to look for and expect. The tv viewing was well presented

The Marin Native American Museum is Tops! I visited the little Native American Museum in Novato, CA. and loved every moment of my time at the Museum. I would highly recommend visiting and to learn about Native culture.
