Twist and Shout Studio is run and run by Richard Johnston whose nick-name is Twist in the music business. Twist came to the Washington area in 1969 as a percussionist in the US Army Band stationed at FT Meade Md. Twist and Shout is a family business that began in 1974. Twist and Shout Studio has been servicing the Baltimore and Washington area in many capacities for almost three decades.

The Twist and Shout Show was a band formed by studio owner Richard Johnston aka Twist in 1976. The Twist and Shout Show has been in existence for over thirty years. We have been a resort area performance act with the ability to do dance music and entertaining show routines.
