WOW! That's what everyone says when they see this beautiful, full length, framed mirror. Then they realize it's actually an interactive photo booth! Minds Blown! Well, it gets even better, when you're done taking pictures you sign the mirror with your finger and within seconds it prints out 3 pictures on your custom designed 4x6 keepsake.

You get what you pay for. We choose sounds to go DJ because Mike seemed nice and he matched a rival DJ services price. Man was I wrong. The DJ was mediocre at best. His recommendation of a photographer was the biggest mistake of my wedding. She was inexperienced and very unprofessional to say the least. She had no direction and no clue what she was doing.

My husband and I met at our indie rock college radio station, and are very particular about the music we love to listen to. We thought that finding a DJ who would play the music we loved instead of the typical wedding songs would be difficult, but it was pretty seamless once we were recommended to Mike Merrell and Sounds to Go DJs by a friend. Once we looked on their website and spoke to Anthony, we knew this was the company we wanted to go with for our wedding. Sounds to Go DJs makes it super easy for a bride and groom.
Once you book, you get access to a form where you plan out the music for your entire wedding. Mike also called us when it got closer to our date to go over the choices. Everything went perfectly on the actual day. We kept getting texts all night about how great the music was. Everyone was dancing and having fun the entire night! I highly recommend booking with Mike and/or Sounds to Go. They were integral in making our wedding the best day of our lives!

Sounds to Go DJs is amazing! They made our wedding so special! They were easy to work with and their website planning and payment forms made everything so simple and organized. We were married at the Stone House at Stirling Ridge and also had a photo booth with our package. Jeff was our DJ and he was fantastic and played awesome music. He also did our ceremony music and it was perfect.
The way they uplighted the room was gorgeous too. And the quality of the camera and the lighting in the photo booth was top notch. I'd recommend Sounds to Go to anyone planning a large event. They are very professional, fun, and you will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful wedding event with Sounds to Go. They planning phase was great and Anthony and our DJ were there each step of the way to help us make decisions and insure us that the night would go off without a hitch. Sounds to Go uses this online planning form that is very extensive and detailed. For a detail orientated person like me, that is perfect.
My only disappointment in the evening was that some of the things on that sheet were not followed. For instance the order of the speeches was messed up and some of the "must hear" songs were skipped. Overall, we had an excellent reception and people really enjoyed the entertainment and photo booth. Sounds To Go delivered in a big way by having everyone on the dance floor from the very first few songs. Our DJ helped to execute and organize the evening and make sure that things went off without a hitch. I would use them again and again and recommend them to anyone.

I know it's labeled DJ here but I found them to be so much more and beyond! We had a huge fundraiser and it was imperative that everything went perfect. There were over 25 committee members to make happy so it was a huge undertaking and Sounds to Go pulled it off! We had to present 3 separate videos to a room of 400 and have it to where everyone could hear and see perfectly.
We had a continuous stream of our guests testimonials and pictures that were shown throughout the night. Finally we had our founders speak and honor individuals so numerous speeches. At any moment if the sound or video wouldn't of worked it would of been devastating to our efforts, but they did a beautiful job! They showed up when they were suppose to, called back and confirmed and overall was a 10! Thank you from Marys Place by the Sea and the 6,000 women fighting cancer that you helped support!

When I met with Anthony at their office in Red Bank, I was impressed. He was responsive to emails, their pricing structure was clear, the contract process was professional. I booked Sounds To Go for two reasons: their flexibility and (what I hoped was) their ability to get everyone dancing. Anthony assured me that everything about our big day was up to us.
He showed me their online forms which allowed us to tell Sounds To Go EXACTLY what we wanted in our music for the ceremony and reception. Other DJs that I met with did not take nearly this amount of "direction." In the days leading up to our wedding, we met with our DJ and again went above and beyond to let us know that he was there to execute all of our wishes.
He even called a few days prior to check in and see if we needed anything. Where Sounds To Go fells short was their ability to get everyone dancing. When I first met Anthony, he told me that Sounds To Go prides themselves on getting everyone up dancing RIGHT AWAY to set the tone for the whole wedding night. This was exactly what we had wanted! When we met with our DJ we made this point VERY clear.
Our DJ asked if we had older guests to cater to. We informed him that about 5 people in our 152 guests were "older" and that these guests told us themselves that they were happy to watch all of the "kids" have fun dancing. We asked for Jersey shore, fist pumping, club music during every single dance set. On the big night, we were incredibly disappointed in how long it took to "get the party started." There were HOURS of lull time and my now husband had to talk with our DJ TWICE during our reception to tell him to pick it up.
We eventually did party hard like we had hoped for, but it unfortunately was not until after dinner, at 9:30, when our reception ended at 11. Our DJ was one of the nicest people we've ever met, but he did not deliver. We would only recommend Sounds To Go if you are looking for a "traditional" wedding DJ.

We were introduced to STG at a bridal show. We met Anthony one of the owners, we loved him, however he pairs you up with a DJ. The one we got promised us the moon and stars. We filled out forms with lists and lists of songs. We even put timing down for where we wanted specific songs cut. He told us he would pay attention to the father daughter as well as the mother daughter dances and cut them if he saw we were needing to.
My wife's dress ripped during her dance, yet he played the song (which was long) in its entirety. He didn't play quite a few of the songs we asked him to. The dance floor was empty for the first set, which I thought was a little embarrassing. The straw that broke the camels back for us is when he introduced us, for the first time ever as bride and groom, it was a lesbian wedding. In my opinion not worth the money we paid. Very disappointed.

I am only in the preliminary stage but I would like to express my sincere happiness with how everything is going with myself & my fiance and sounds to go. They have been extremely professional and accommodating thus far and I can not wait for our big day! They have a very useful wedding planning tool on their website which makes it easy and interactive. They are also very fast to respond to any questions or concerns I have which makes this choice feel secure.
