Jeff Evans presented a science magic show for the children's summer reading program at Tacoma Library - Swasey Branch this week. This performance is titled "Out of This World Magic Show". He is such a professional who knows how to gear his shows for children. The children were engaged and amazed from the very beginning to the end! He used STEM idea which is familiar to the children who are students and added Reading and Art.
The magic is up close for the students sitting on the floor and each child felt involved. I would highly suggest Jeff Evans for any of the magic shows he performs - adult groups, schools, parties, etc. I am not aware of the cost of his hiring because gracious sponsors paid for his performance for the library, but he would be worth every penny!

We recently hired Jeff Evans to entertain at our son's 10th birthday party. Jeff ended up performing for almost 60 people, including 30+ kids ranging in age from 2 to 14. He was amazing! Jeff is friendly, funny and intelligent, and can connect with everyone-he captivated the audience, involved the birthday boy and other guests in tricks, and exercised very good crowd control!
After the performance, Jeff conducted a mini workshop and taught the kids 3 simple tricks and gave each a set of props to keep. For our younger guests, Jeff offered an add-on of cool balloon hats, which the little ones really enjoyed. This was our second time hiring Jeff and we know we want him to entertain at our next big bash! It was a pleasure to work with Jeff-he responded promptly to all my emails, arrived at the party on time and gave a great show. The kids were engaged in the performance and our son was happy! Thanks to Jeff, this was a fun and memorable party.

I wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for a job well done by Jeff. His performance was delightfully entertaining. The space was small and many of the guests for the open house swarmed in at once. Jeff effortlessly made his way sharing his craft to the amazement of my family and friends. Some are still talking about the "cross on the hand" trick and the "bouncing ball from the bag-less coin purse".

Just saw Jeff tonight at my kids' school. I was expecting something that only kids could appreciate, but I was more than blown away by his tricks and humor. I'm still trying to figure out what the hell he did with the water in those Egyptian cups. My son Boston was able to have his hand "cut off" and now he can't stop talking about wanting to be a magician : This man comes highly recommended by me!

I saw Jeff perform his act at my friend's birthday party on 10/04/2013. The age range of the audience was 26-40 years old. Jeff's stage presence was impressive from the beginning. His experience is apparent, and it shows in how comfortable he is while performing. A fun and engaging rapport was set up immediately with the audience. Although it was a small venue, once the show began I felt like I was in Vegas. Jeff captivated the audience, and to us the rest of the world ceased to exist for the duration of the show.
Now to the show: WOW! Absolutely, and incredibly WOW! The illusions performed by Jeff are jaw dropping. From seemingly simple card tricks, to Rubik's cubes and water bottles, Jeff uses a variety of props -nearly always including the audience- to perform mind-bending illusions. Just when it seemed like a trick wasn't going to work out, it would work out in a fashion that we didn't predict and twice as impressive. Suffice it to say, a room full of adults were absolutely beside themselves (myself included) over the seemingly impossible tricks.
A couple illusions in particular (no spoilers, promise!) impacted us so greatly, that it was all we could talk about afterwards. All in all, Jeff Evans is an incredible performer. His show was absolutely unforgettable. Honestly, I could write a slew of superlative statements about the show, but truly the act speaks for itself.

I've had the opportunity to see Jeff perform many times. He has a an amazing ability to engage an audience of all ages. Both kids and adults laugh at Jeff's jokes and enjoy the surprise of the tricks. I just love watching the faces of the kids watching a performance. They have a fantastic look on their faces, a combination of joy and awe.
