Ridiculous Entertainment is a unique company that brings DJs with real club and party experience to couples who want fun, eclectic, and classy music for their wedding day or any other private event, large or small. Ridiculous Entertainment is never pretentious or obnoxious; we're professional, good-humored, and ready to party! With more than 13 years of experience in all kinds of DJ environments, we have DJed nearly every kind of event. Our main goal is to have a packed dance floor all night long, and our DJs have expertise in almost any genre.
Services
I've been running Ridiculous Entertainment as my main business for 9 years. I picked up DJing as a hobby when I was in high school, falling in love with hip-hop and learning to scratch records. Throughout my college years, I DJed tons of parties. I now also work in live audio engineering, record albums in my home studio, play in bands, and produce stage shows with the Baltimore Rock Opera Society (BROS). Even with this range of interests, DJing weddings and private parties has been my main career path for a long time now and I still really enjoy it!

Fantastic party music for our wedding! Aran did a wonderful job from start to finish and he kept the high energy we wanted on the dance floor. We could not have pulled off such a fun wedding without Aran. Highly recommend him. I couldn't have been happier with Aran's DJ services! A mutual acquaintance put us in touch when I asked if he knew a DJ I could use for a special fundraising event for the non-profit that I chair in Alexandria, VA.

Aran was great! He was thorough, friendly, well versed in his craft, & communicated regularly. He ended up getting injured prior to our wedding. He informed us in a timely manner and had a solution ready. He kept his commitment and brought an assistant to support him during our special day. He was prepared to bring everything needed. We contracted him for our Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception. He was professional, on time, & everyone loved him!

The process leading up to the wedding was super easy with Aran! He was super open to the music requests we made (which was a bit all over the map) and when it came to the night of the reception, he did an excellent job adjusting the pre- thought out plan to what our guests were really vibing with. He played a really great mix of music and we got lots of compliments on the mix of music!
We had 1 electrical problem during the event (not Aran's fault at all), but he handled it as smoothly and professionally as it could be (in fact many people told us they didn't even notice it happened). By the end of the night, the dance floor was full and people were definitely having a great time! We would highly recommend Aran!

My husband and I hired Aran Keating, from Ridiculous Entertainment, to DJ our wedding this past October. He did a fantastic job! He was very helpful planning out the timeline when we met with him weeks before the wedding. He was super easygoing and took time to listen to what we wanted. We sent him playlists and he definitely played what we asked him to. Things got a bit behind schedule at the wedding just because and Aran did a great job getting things back on track. Aran clearly has experience and is very good at what he does. I would highly recommend Aran!

Aran was a gem. Our reception was outdoors and he nailed it from the sound quality to the setlist itself. He was extremely responsive as we were planning the event and had great suggestions and input throughout. One of our fears was a hokey "radio DJ personality", and Aran was the opposite of that. He was polished, professional, friendly, and did everything in his power to make sure that all of our guests had a great time on and off the dance floor.
We still get compliments and we're so glad our memories have a perfect soundtrack thanks to Aran. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who wants fun, fantastic music and good vibes at their party.

Aran was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He was recommended to us by a family friend who is a wedding planner in the Baltimore area and he did not disappoint. Aran met with us early on in the wedding planning process and talked us through his services and discussed any additional questions or concerns we had. In weeks leading up to the wedding, he took time to walk through the timeline and handle our specific reception requests.
He was exceptional with the wedding party intros and transitioning songs to avoid an awkward lull in music. Our guests had nothing but positive things to say about our reception atmosphere and music. I would highly recommend Aran for any wedding.

Ridiculous Entertainment and DJ Aran totally blew us away for our wedding. The dance party delivered non-stop fun and kept almost our entire crowd on the dance floor all night. Aran also assisted with audio for the ceremony and everything ran incredibly smoothly. We could not have been more satisfied with the quality of service we received and we would recommend him and his company to anyone looking to throw a one-in-a-lifetime party!

Aran was amazing, he kept everyone on the dance floor for the entire wedding. He was very responsive, helpful before the wedding. I called him frantically the day before the wedding because I hadn't decided on how my wedding party should walk out. He took the time to talk thru everything and what we decided on worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend him.

I would recommend DJ Aran with utmost regard. He was professional, affordable, and absolutely whatever we wanted (which was hands-off, both my hubby and I were planning our wedding extremely remotely; we knew that we wanted a PARTY, but also we didn't have the time to be granular with playlist selection.) We are both in our early twenties, but wanted a music service to accommodate all.
We had DJ Aran for our Bel Air, MD wedding and he was nothing short of STELLAR! We had a broad age demographic to our guests, he was absolutely fantastic, and he accommodated all! Even now, after our July 2017 wedding, guests continuously comment on the amount of dancing DJ Aran facilitated. We had a huge wedding, ~200 guests, and DJ Aran kept the party going all night long.
He was able to accommodate a very classy Beer / Wine / Cocktail hour before the reception, and then quickly segue into our most favorite dance party of the century. I actually planned my wedding from Wyoming, and DJ Aran was always quick to respond, and provided excellent service. I would recommend him for any event, he truly made our night! Thank you DJ Aran!

Aran from Ridiculous entertainment was an amazing DJ for our wedding from beginning to end. He was everything we had hoped for and more. From the very beginning Aran made us comfortable during our email exchanges and phone calls. He took time to get to know our likes and dislikes of music and gave his expert input about where things would work. We could tell he spent a lot of time thinking about the set and how the music would work with our ceremony and our interests.
When we sent updates of songs up until the wedding day he was open to adding things in and changing things when needed. He was amazing at communicating both with us and the venue to make everything run smoothly. On the day of he was professional and friendly and worked well with our family and friends. He put in more than 100 % and you can tell really cared about the job and about making our night special.
