Pyramid Disc Jockeys - Flagler-Volusia

My husband and I used Pyramid Djs for our Daytona Beach wedding in May of 2022 and I cannot say enough good things about them as a whole! We orginally had booked with DJ Vern however he had a family emergency the week before our wedding. He reached out personally from the hospital and helped us make our transition with DJ Bob who was wonderful also.

Family always comes first and we were so impressed he still made sure we felt confident with his team, even with everything happening in his life. DJ Bob kept the party going and had everything in perfect timing. Dont look anywhere else if you are in need of a dj for the area. Super afforable and top notch service. 100% recommend and would use again!

Hired for our wedding, had requested Vern and he sent his backup, wasn't impressed neither were our guests. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

We used this vendor at our wedding on 5/15/21. DJ Mike was our DJ, and was very professional. He answered all of my questions on multiple telephone calls, and helped us with our time line for our reception. I would recommend this company for any function! Thanks DJ Mike, you really made our day that much better as our guest were entertained and loved the variety of the music you played. We hired Vern at Pyramid DJ for our wedding and were so happy we did! Vern was a total professional: as soon as he took over, I felt like I could let go and enjoy the day, because Vern was running the show and keeping us on schedule. Great music choices, and the right mix of MC'ing and staying in the background. Highly recommend him for your event!

I met Mike in 2015 and had the pleasure to work with him not once but twice. After working with him, seeing the good energy he put off, how he got everyone up and dancing(he's definitely not afraid to get up and dance! Lol), as a photographer; how easy it was to work with him and how well he communicated with me, I knew that if I was to get married, I wanted Mike to be the DJ and THATS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED.

We hired Mike for our wedding and we're SOOOOOO glad we did! Even though our venue and reception was 3 hours away(we live about 30 minutes east of Tampa), Pyramid Disc Jockeys help make our big day even MORE AMAZING. People do not realize MUCH YOU NEED A DJ for a wedding! And these guys are the ones you need!

DJ Vern was so much fun I love how organized the planning is so if you have specific songs your guest want to hear he has that ahead of time. He kept everyone dancing the entire night. All my guest had so much fun Best DJ ever!

Vern is THE MAN! Did an amazing job! Vern did our wedding last week and smashed it out of the park! High energy great timing great with announcements, very competitive pricing! DJ Vern was absolutely fantastic for our wedding at Harmony Gardens! He has a great MC voice and made funny, but tasteful jokes throughout the reception that had our guests laughing. His song choices/lineup had the guests up and dancing! Pyramid DJs provided mics for toasts and lights for the dance floor as well. DJ Vern helped our wedding ceremony and reception run smoothly, and he was flexible when we had to push back or move forward various events due to taking too long during bridal portraits and the cake starting to tilt a little from the heat.;D I highly recommend DJ Vern!

DJ Vern Shanks djed at our wedding. From start to finish did everything perfect and on schedule. Easy to work with. He went above and beyond to make sure EVERYONE at the wedding was having fun, from getting out on the dance floor to show guests the moves to the line dances, to finding a limbo stick for our kids who wanted to limbo at our reception. They deliver everything they promise and more. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best DJ service available. Fully staffed with professional Disc Jockeys for any type event. Over 25 years in business is quite an accomplishment and Pyramid DJs certainly knows how to work everything from weddings and parties, to full-blown festival style events.

Vern was a pleasure to work with and was initially supposed to DJ our wedding. Unfortunately due to medical issues he was not able to do it and said DJ Mike was as good as he was and had a ton of experience. DJ Mike was horrible. Between his white Oakley sunglasses (which he wore indoors and out) and his white headphones he had on him at all times I think he thought he was DJing a club or something.

On top of that it went from we didn't have to worry about anything to the DJ bugging us throughout the night about varies things he should have taken care of on his own. Furthermore he played a song or two on our DO NOT PLAY list without our permission. Finally the DJ thought it would be appropriate to play uncensored versions of songs with little kids there and our parents without even asking us. Vern was a pleasure but do not let DJ Mike come near your wedding unless you want to be the one to run your wedding.
