Services
Increasingly, people are beginning to understand the need to protect our fragile earth. Awareness and education are our best investments in preserving the living world around us. But to do this, we need to spark curiosity and foster respect to get us thinking about our role in the environment. Our live animal programs inform and inspire, enliven and empower, and deliver important messages disguised as fun and interactive entertainment. Our goal is to increase our awareness, our knowledge and the value we place on our living planet and its critters.
Nature's Critters present educational and interactive programs to spark curiosity and foster respect of our natural world. Thank you for participating once again in Oakwood's Science, Math and Computer Fair. As last year, your wonderful presentation style and critters were one of our most popular events.
All of our Royal pythons are captive-bred. These gentle animals are disappearing in the wild due to over-hunting and habitat destruction. Native to Africa, they are now protected in several countries on the west coast. When startled, they curl into balls hiding their heads inside. Found only in Australia, these amazing lizards live in a variety of habitats ranging from deserts to forests and mountainous areas.
Nature's Critters has worked with students of ALL ages (toddlers to senior citizens). Our unique way of teaching people to view nature in an appreciative way has influenced many to value and treasure wildlife. School programs encompass a variety of topics ranging from adaptations to classifications.

Lisa was wonderful! We booked her for our daughter's 6th birthday and she was on time, professional, and both engaged with her cool critters and the kids. Both adults and kids were completely entertained. I would book her again anytime!

Reserved her for a birthday party. She was great interacting with the kids and answering their questions, drawing out even the skittish little kids to engage. Would recommend or use agin.

Lisa came to our daughter's 10th birthday. We had mix of younger and older kids. The animals presented, along with her deep knowledge was wonderful! We'd love to have her back again!

I called Lisa who I assume is the owner of this company and left a voicemail, after a few days with no response I emailed her with my party inquiries, again after a few days no response. I went back on her website to see if I had mistyped the email address after confirming that I did not I tried to email straight from her website. A few more days go by and I get a very short email saying "I am booked on that day".

So I then email her and ask if she had any other days close to the day I was looking for? I wait a for a few more days then get a response No but here is a referral. I was a bit frustrated at this point because I felt like she should of given me options of time frames she did have open. I checked out the referral she sent but the gal didn't have a good mix of critters.so I emailed Lisa AGAIN and asked if she had any dates available in the month of my sons birthday.

This time I waited about a week to get a response and it was "unfortunately we do not. I understand being busy but there was no professionalism at all! I would give her zero starts if I could. Thankfully we didn't wait for her finally response to make other plans for my son birthday party.

I emailed Nature's Critters to reserve a birthday party date almost 3 months in advance. She seemed very polite in the emails and led me to believe that if I emailed again in a few weeks when the calendar was up that she would book the party. Well, I sent an email again and the response was "sorry we are booked I can send you a referral." I would not give my business to this person.

She didn't even offer to schedule another day or time. I understand working with animals you have to be flexible but I won't be giving my business to this particular animal lady. I'm taking this very personal because I had mentioned in the email about maybe adopting a turtle, which after several weeks of research we've decided isn't the pet for us; I feel like we were judged by this lady and she's refusing to host a party for my son because she assumed we were irresponsible pet owners because we were considering a turtle for my son.

Some people can make very informed decisions and I think we will be having our party at the zoo where there will be a real chance of educating children about animals. Thank you
