MARGARITA's PARTY RENTALS STORE started out in Houston renting margarita machines in 1999. We have been in the frozen beverage business since 1986 working in and around daiquiri shops during college in Louisiana. Frozen Daiquiri's (especially hurricanes) are the perfect way to cool off on those hot humid Louisiana nights. In 1998 we moved to Houston, Texas and couldn't find any Daiquiri Shops to quench our thirsts for home. So we bought a slushy machine from a daiquiri supply store in Louisiana and soon found it at our neighbors houses more than ours!

Don't waste your time renting their machines, they don't work. When you call them to tell them they don't work, they give you stupid excuses like your house isn't equipped to power their machine. I rent margarita machines at least once a month and never heard stupid excuses like that. My house was just built 3 years ago, so I think I can power a margarita machine.

The leg on their machine was broken, and the power cord sucked all the way around. Wasn't able to use the machine for my party and when I returned it they say it works just fine. Next time I will just rent 2 machines for Rockthehouse Moonwalks instead of trying to use their janky double machine. Wish I would have read their reviews before I rented.

Wished I'd read the reviews before dealing with Mr. Margarita Pasadena location. We had a huge party set up for my 86 year old father. The margarita machine didn't work. I called Kindra to no avail. I talked with the so called technician for troubleshooting tips ( which I had already performed since I have been in the repair field for 31 years ).

He suggested removing the extension cord and plugging directly in an outlet which I did. The machine wouldn't even cool the mixture so I knew at this point it definitely would not freeze. Just to apease this so called technician I then plugged the machine into a generator that runs my entire travel trailer and still nothing. I was told IF it was a true failure of equipment I would get a refund. The sad thing about the entire situation is not once did i get an apology! Nevertheless I will never rent from these guys again and I'd suggest you do the same.

I would give them 0 stars if I could! Waste of time and money! Customer Service is rude, and to top off their machines don't work. Please go rent somewhere else. This place is a joke. My husband and I had a party and had high hopes with this machine. We followed all the rules and had the machine started. Sounded like it was working but it never froze.

I called for support and the lady was extremely rude and offered no help. Excuses were the power, the extension cords and so on. We switched that machine into so many different outlets and never worked. They show no concern for their clients. Rip off WASTE OF MONEY, TIME, AND LIQUOR!

Do not use this company! I booked with them over a month ago, gave them my credit card information they told me they would charge it 3 days prior. I cancelled it a week after I booked it, and 3 days before my wedding they charged my card. I did not realize this until I was checking my bank account and figured I would take care of it because I was very busy with my wedding.

The day before my wedding they told me I needed to come pick up the margarita machine I told him I had cancelled it that I was wondering why they charge my credit card and the woman said that I never cancelled it and she would not give me my money back! She was very rude and told me there was nothing I could do. I've been in customer service all my life and have never treated anyone like this woman treated me right before my wedding. If I had it if you have a problem with this company please contact the Better Business Bureau like I did people like this do not need to stay inthe service industry

This review is based on their customer service. Sent email to inquire about renting a margarita machine and asked a couple questions, including pickup. Jill was kind enough (sarcasm) to reply and simply say I could only pickup in Pasadena and nothing else. She didn't even bother to answer my questions or provide me with alternatives (such as delivery and the cost of it). I guess they make enough money already. Found a better company to rent a margarita machine from.

We rent a machine every year from Mr. Margarita for our family reunion. The machine worked great, the mix was great and the customer service was excellent! We will be renting again next year!

I can only speak for myself when I say that the lack of customer service at this place is very apparent. When I received my call back from my on-line reservation, the man (owner) was very rude, and seemed irritated that I was even wanting to book a machine. And even though I was not needing the machine for over 2 weeks, he said he had no Lemonade mix that I requested. Seemed really odd since that is the most popular flavor in Summer here and that he would not have any in 2 weeks, OR that he would not get some from another location.

He was even more rude when I explained that I wanted something to mix with vodka. he spoke to me like I was an idiot and said that "no one drinks these with vodka!" So I then mentioned that the website has a whole recipe section for vodka drinks, then he was just irritated that I did not know what flavor I wanted since he had no Lemonade. I can also say that it is all LIES about the Freeze time being an hour.

That is a crock! We had our machine INSIDE and it took 4-1/2 hours to freeze and that was only after we just started serving the drinks on the rocks. The owner or his employees have obviously marked the bucket incorrectly & have way to much liquid going in these machines. Only after I went through this horrible experience did I see MANY, MANY other reviews stating almost the exact complaints on Yahoo reviews.

And when I returned the machine no one ever asked if there were any problems, did it work out okay for the party. they just do not care to be quite honest. I have been in Customer Service for years, and this treatment is NOT how you get repeat business or good references. Do not speak to people like they are idiots and you are too busy to make a reservation, and then tell people that your machines freeze in an hour. LIES.

And stop telling people (some of which are electricians) that it is the power supply that is the problem. Again more lies. We personally used a dedicated power source from the inside of the house and it still took 4-1/2 hrs. I will never use this company again and from other reviews on the Internet this guy does not seem to concerned about changing his ways because he acted the same way with me.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! First off the guy showed up 6 hours late to drop of the machine. Then it took 9 hours for the drinks to freeze. When we tried to call the owner he they yelled at us and blamed the whole situation on operator error. The driver who brought the machine has lied to the owner saying that we weren't there and that is why is was late but in reality he called us and informed us that he forgot our paper work. Do not waster your time or your money. I am still trying to get my money back. THe owner basically gave us all the excuses that Dave said in his review.
