Hal (DJ Mendocino) was a terrific DJ with great taste in music and a kind and caring demeanor, he really kept us all laughing and we were even dancing! That's unusual for us! It was a perfect backdrop to the day.

We selected DJ Mendocino for our granddaughter's wedding and it could not have been better. Hal Wagenet was the total professional: Set up a PERFECT sound system, worked carefully and sensitively with the bride and groom selecting songs, and then pulled off a seamless presentation during the event. Some dj's can be obnoxiously present (or even obnoxiously absent) but Hal took all his clues from the bride and groom and the result was a wonderful occasion. Many, many thanks! FIVE STARS!

Eddie is so awesome! He has been our DJ for our school's middle school dances MANY times now. The kids love him and request him to return for each dance. His prices are reasonable, brings an awesome light system, plays age appropriate and popular music, and has fun commentary. It was so easy to coordinate the dates with Eddie. He is quickly responsive by email/telephone. We love Eddie and would HIGHLY recommend him for your next event.

Eddie did an incredible job DJ-ing our 30th year reunion. For a moment I considered bringing an NYC DJ friends out west to do it, but felt Eddie was just as good if not better than any or them. He took my loose guidelines, expanded on them creating a fun, exciting and jamming atmosphere. I'll def be hiring him again for our 35th.

Mendo Dj did such a great job doing the music for not only our reception but our wedding ceremony as well, thanks so much we had such a good time with great music!

I've had the privilege of knowing Eddie and his work for several years. He has served as DJ for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life, a continuous 24-hour commitment to provide music and announcements in an outdoor setting. He was on top of fitting in live bands, ceremonies, and unexpected demands for the entire time. During the 2019 event he even attended meetings, met with our committee, and helped set the program.

He was always pleasant and energetic. His music was expertly selected. I have not been his dance student, but watched him captivate an affluent, discriminating audience at a fundraiser for Project Sanctuary, a program for battered women. With his partner, he commanded the stage with directions and banter while they gracefully performed. It's evident that his classes would be effective and enjoyable. In seeing him deal with situations that required patience and sound judgment I can attest to his professionalism and honesty.

We had MendoDJ for a private party it was over 100 people and Eddie couldn't have been more professional, he has great communication skills and easy to work with. He had everyone dancing and having a ball. He was fun and very organized. I am looking forward to having him for our next party!

We had Hal MC our wedding on 10/14/16 and he was FANTASTIC. He came a couple days early to check out the location and came to set up the day before. He was on time super professional and definitely knew what he was doing. (Way more than we did Lol!) We gave him a specific genre of music and he did not deter from that genre. He did amazing! Every song he played had tons of people dancing, I don't think I sat down the entire night.

It was great song after great song. He was wonderful at managing the timeline and keeping us on track. When it was time for our first dance, toasts, bouquet toss, etc. he would let us know and give us a few minutes to get up to the dance floor. I was extremely happy with Hal! He was social, extremely friendly and I have gotten so many compliments on how fun it was. And I absolutely attribute that to Hal and his music choices!

DJ Hal Wagenet is hilarious! Hal was our DJ at our wedding in Hopland. It was a pleasure working him. He played all the songs I requested and knew how to keep the party going. My wedding coordinator cancelled at the last minute so DJ Hal kindly helped out the the MCing to make sure the wedding flowed smoothly. Hal is definitely a bit quarky with his colorful hats and shameless plugs for his own band but all our guests loved him so I can't complain.

Before the wedding he was very responsive to emails. Everytime I emailed him with a question he would get back to me same day or a day later. I would definitely recommend DJ Hal for your event!
