If you are looking for a unique experience for your child or yourself -- read on! LimeLight opened it's doors in 1999, under the original name of Kinder Kids. Initially, our student base consisted of preschool age children but has now grown to encompass dancers of all ages, including adults. We emphasize the development of well rounded dancers and we strive to create a healthy and enriching environment for our students. Here at LimeLight, students can build coordination, grace, poise and self confidence that goes hand in hand with their dance training.
Automatic withdrawal, called ACH. The tuition for the full semester is based on the number of classes in that 9 month semester multiplied by the class rate and divided into 9 monthly installments for your convenience. It is not based on the number of weeks in a month. Therefore, some months might only have 3 classes, and some might have 5 classes.
Miss Amanda is our hip-hop and jazz teacher of ages 6 - adult. She has over 20 years of dancing and teaching experience in hip-hop, jazz, ballet, pointe, tap, and lyrical. She has competed in many competitions throughout Pennsylvania in all dance styles. Miss Amanda is in charge of the competition team for LimeLight and has won awards for her choreography.
Twirly Bee's - Ages 18 mos. 30 min. Catering to a child's natural sense of wonder, imagination and exploration. With the use of colorful props, songs and engaging dances, your child will move to the music with enthusiasm. 45 min. Stimulation of sight, sound and touch, this class uses all kinds of props, songs and gross motor skill development games to introduce dance & coordination skills.
Brush up on your acting skills by acting out popular kid movies each week! From Encanto, to Mary Poppins, to Sing and more! Fun use of props & theatrical skills! Class includes a craft & snack each week. 60 min. A great class for any student looking to try a new style or try one of these styles during the recital year!

Our experience at Lime Light has been fantastic! Both Stella and I enjoy every minute we spend there. Stella has learned so much. She has gone from being a shy little girl with "stage fright" to a confident, cheerful performer. All of the teachers - not just those in charge of her classes - make her feel good about what she is doing there. And this old Nana has gotten herself moving in the Adult classes.
Both teachers and classmates have become caring friends. Stella and I look forward to continuing to dance our hearts out at Lime Light! (And special thanks to Lisa and Gracyn for recommending we sign up with Lime Light!)

My daughter is in her 4th year at Limelight and we have been very pleased over the years. The staff is very patient, energetic, and absolutely wonderful with the kids. The communication from Karen has been great and the recitals have been very organized and timely in the past. The schedule offers a variety of classes with a few options for days and times. I would highly recommend Limelight Dance Studio.

This is our first year at Limelight after being with another studio for five years. What first brought me to check out Limelight was their recital. One of my students danced in the recital in the spring and I was so impressed with the professionalism with the recital. The recital was not real long and everyone in the audience remained seated to "enjoy the show". Parents did not need to get up and get their children after they were finished performing or to take them back to perform. My daughter was a little hesitant about switching after five years but Miss Amanda is great and my daughter loves her hip hop class!

This is my daughters second year with Limelight. She absolutely LOVES it. She gets so excited when she wakes up in the morning and realizes its her day to have dance class. The smile on her face is priceless and I truly enjoy taking her and hearing all about her class. It makes me feel good that she is able to participate in a wonderful dance environment.

Limelight Dance Studio is by far the most professionally run studio in our area. My daughter began dancing with me in a Mommy & Me class with Miss Kate when she was about 2. She fell in love with dancing and we fell in love with Limelight. When I was looking to enroll her in a class I called several local studios and having danced myself for a local studio from grade school through graduating high school I had some experience with both how studios were run and the instructors in the area.
After calling a few studios I was familiar with I called Limelight after hearing from a few other parents that they had good experiences there. From the moment I first spoke and then met Karen, the owner, I was impressed. She provided me with all of the information I needed and the studio is run very well from a business perspective, which I appreciated.
We always know well in advance when performances will be, when payments are due, when pictures will be taken, etc. This information is provided in the monthly newsletter and includes the other promotions and activities that take place at the studio for the dancers, such as fun holiday activities. My daughter is now 5 and has been dancing for a few years with Miss Brieann at Limelight and we couldn't be happier with the teachers, performances are always a treat, and how well the studio is run.
