Again, thank you for your professionalism and management of K1 Speed in Sacramento. I would like to Thank You so much for making Carly's 17th birthday party GREAT! We were there last Wednesday, with 25 teenagers, and they all had a wonderful time.

When we got there, tons of parking! Checked in, paid, got our head socks and then sat and waited for our name to be called. AN HOUR later, it was super busy and there were tons of kids who weren't there when we first got there being called up for races. multiple laps at that. We decide to get up and ask what's going on. they didn't get us in the system and somehow didn't know we were there waiting. Drove 45 mins to meet my family here and we didn't get to race at all.

They lacked sympathy of the situation and were going to have us wait in the line for an additional amount time. We requested a refund immediately even though apparently it's against their policy. Tip: if you're gonna run a business that doesn't do refunds have a better system cause I would've been heated if I didn't get my money back.

My family and i have never been to K1 before. We walked in with no reservation to registered and pay to race. We waited for about 45 mins without being called. My husband checked in with a staff member Josh who said we were not in the system but we had a receipt of payment. Josh was trying to figure out why we were not in the system talking to another staff member. It had got really busy in the time we waited and were not happy that we were being told it would be longer. We asked for a refund and was given our money back.

My daughters worked hard getting great grades in school only to find out the school district would not have a ceremonial graduation for them. So, to lift their spirits and let them know their hard work was not done in vain I decided to take them to take them to K1 Speed at the Seattle, WA location located in Redmond, WA which is the suburb area of Seattle on June 18, 2022 at 9 pm. Needless to say they were happy and I as well.

As a father I felt proud when I saw the eagerness in their eyes and the excitement on their faces. It let me know that I did something great for them and when I told them I paid for 2 races for the both of them they couldn't contain their excitement. I made sure to capture every moment K1 Speed was able to provide me on this special day. It was indeed a special moment and a connection of happiness when I helped them put on their head socks and helmets.

That happiness even carried on when they hopped in the cars getting ready to drive off. The crew looked professional as well as helpful. Then I noticed how reckless the drivers were on the track. They deliberately crashed their karts into my daughters numerous times just to get ahead to "win". The crew saw this and I will admit they did slow down the karts to prevent the situation from happening again but the drivers didn't care they kept on doing it.

When the 1st race was done my oldest said she didn't want to race anymore because of the drivers. Tears were forming in her eyes and she was completely hurt that these reckless adults were acting like juveniles. My youngest however wanted to do the 2nd race. I informed the people at the track that my oldest does not want to race and if I could take her place they said sure no problem.

Once the 2nd race started I could see 1st hand what my daughter was not only feeling but also experiencing as well. A woman who was in Kart number 14 crashed into me. The first time I didn't think anything of it. The second time I was getting concerned, the third time it was perfectly clear that her actions were indeed intentional especially when I noticed that she hit me so hard my cellphone flew out of my pocket onto the track.

I noticed how she almost hit the pit crew who tried to retrieve my phone just so she can run over it to which she did. The crew did reduce the speed of the karts due to her behavior but they did not I repeat did not remove her from the race for her behavior. During the final lap of the race car no#14 did it again she hit my go kart knocking me into the barrier.

After the race was done I could clearly see this woman laughing not showing no signs of compassion or remorse for her actions. I also noticed that this is the norm for K1 Speed Kart to let drivers act reckless and cause danger that can make a person furious enough to fight or cause the victim to be in the hospital. I left the place with my daughter's heart broken, my phone broken, and a vivid image of a white woman laughing hysterically like she was a comedy club.

I thought K1 Speed represented a family-orientated atmosphere that would be fun for families but also safe. However I can clearly learned the only thing the K1 organization is truly about is establishing generational wealth for the founders' family.

Boy (dramatic pause) I wish I would of read the reviews before booking my event with K-1 Speed. The corporate office is not aligned with the location at all. I had a team meeting planned at the K-1 Addison location. I had been working with their group booking department which is based out of California. Everything I thought was set, until the day before our event.

I received a voice mail from someone in customer service that reflected the complete opposite of what I booked with their sales department. I tried contacting their group booking and customer service line to align, and was ran through multiple phone trees. In the end I never got in touch with anyone or received a call back about our event that was less than 24 hours away.

If you are booking for a large event, I advise you consider their lack of customer service and professionalism. The manager at the actual location did a great job with fixing everything once we arrived, and creating a great experience. But the initial planning, confirmation, and stress that lead up our event is not worth it. I am still waiting on a call back from my Sales Coordinator at K-1. It's been over a week, and no one has called me back, although he keeps saying "I will call you today." Crickets, crickets, crickets.

Fun for small kids and teens. Seats in go carts are very small. If you buy and then find you don't fit in the carts, they will reimburse you.

Its a great place for parties! 3 laps for 54-55$ not bad at all. They have a lot of pool tables, would be great to make them free and available for people who are waiting for the race. Note: They give trophies for parties over 8 people.

This was the 2nd K1 I have visited, and it was quite a dissapointment compared to the K1 in Portland/Hillsboro. Just a much smaller, cramped space, very noisy inside. The track itself was tight, just over 2 karts wide and no real passing opportunities because it was constant turns. The biggest downfall of the visit was being told we would have to wait rougly 6 hours for my son to race.

We showed up 40 minutes after they opened and had a group of adults and 2 juniors. Told adults have a 2 hour wait, juniors are 6 hours because of a party. Issue is the party was not going on for quite a while, but still told the junior karts had to charge for the party. Really sucks when my 8 year old son loves to do karts and we made the trip to the seattle area to visit friends the day before but let him drive that day, only to be told too bad. I saw no issue with scheduling where they couldnt push in the junior drivers for a race or two just to make it work, but nobody wanted to hear it.

I organize group events from time to time and I have about 12 people in the group starting with an email to customer service of group events and they advise me accurately and promptly by email. it was a very busy evening although k1 speed was short staffed I thought they did a fantastic job, we did have to wait a little bit to say juggled several groups of people but it was worth the wait we had a lot of fun and you purchased a group package which included food.

The cost came out to be about $80 per person. The food is basic bowling alley food, chicken wings ings, chicken nuggets, fries, pizza, burgers, beer, candy and beer could be purchased with your food credit from the package, a food credit of about $15 per person no restricts that was convenient. I did tip the staff because once again I thought they handled our group very well and they were juggling several groups at a time very well for being busy and understaffed. The place is a little tricky to get to we came the back way turning on 148th.

Do not go here if you value your time. Arrive and drive is a fallacy. We arrived two minutes after they opened on a Thursday and it was a 90 min wait to drive. So we had lunch and came back 2 hours later to find it was another hour to drive. No way to book online or by phone. Just come in and sit around. Sorry, I value my time too much to deal with that policy of disrespect.

SO upon arrival at the check in desk the service was not great. The lady did not have good customer service which really frustrated me when paying $65 p/ kid its kind of a lot. I ended up speaking with a supervisor when we found our way to the race area who totally stepped up and corrected the issues and gave us a great experience. My kids loved it and the facility is very nice and clean and spacious.

The cars and track here are the main attraction and are functional but neither are top-notch and the track hasn't changed in 20 years. Food here is a joke, both the quality and the price. I wouldn't serve it in a prison. Customer service really needs improvement, most importantly by putting an adult in charge. The entire place is too loud and makes coordinating activities much more difficult than it needs to be.

I came on crutches and it is a nightmare for the disabled. When the youngsters staffing this place don't have a customer in their face they are playing cards behind the counter. The kids enjoyed the racing and pool table but even a bunch of young teen boys were not impressed with the pizza. There are plenty of other ways to spend over $1200 on a birthday party that are far better in every one of these categories, so I don't think I'll come back.

First impressions place looks awesome, plenty of billiards tables, comfy leather couches to chill, stocked up bar sucked i couldn't have a beer tho.and clean. Person in the front desk was no help, rude, and ignorant if it wasn't for me that read up about the deal that was going on that day she would of never said anything.food was eeh ok grease from fryer definitely had to be changed. ONE MAJOR FACT YOU CAN NOT HAVE ALCOHOLIC BEVAREGES IF YOURE GOING TO RACE big bummer for me. Overall the racing part and go-karts was awesome go karts super fast, faster then i thought they would be. Track a bit small but fun.

I had no fun racing here, they throttle the power output of the kart (it's all electric go karts not gas) based on who they 'feel' is fast on the grid- these are actual words from the organizers. I felt like I was cruising while the others zipped past me. I let them know that my kart felt like it had no power, the coordinator mentioned 'the kart was probably low on charge' and promised a better kart for race 2, which was no different.

It really sucks I felt no thrill racing here, while I was being passed by karts with more power. Race here only if you are desperate and too far away from any other location.

Been there once before and decided to go there again today with more friends. This place is the worst go kart track I have ever been to. I can say with confidence that I will never be going here again but instead taking my money to K1 speed as should you. Let's start with the wait times. My first time going (last year) the wait times were insanely long.

We waited a good couple of hours before our first race and then about another half an hour in between our first races and our last one. Another problem is they did NOT GO AS FAST AS ADVERTISED. I doubt we were even going half the speed advertised on their website. After speaking to the GM she said that not all people on the track may have been qualified for the faster modes for the karts.

That's fine but I didn't pay 80+ dollars to go as fast as kiddie karts. I suggest making one track for the beginners and the other for people who actually want to use the karts for the speed advertised. People who come here want to go fast not slow like any kiddie arcade place. Speaking of the karts they are not similar in ability to perform. First race I had best lap time by a few seconds and lapped a couple of people.

Second race I dropped to having worst lap time by a big margin then those above me(few second gap which is big). On the second race my kart was also pretty dangerous. When I went to let off the gas pedal it would keep moving like I was still on the accelerator which I was not. After hitting the brake pedal to counter this mechanical failure it would stop the kart completely.

I would have to tap the gas a couple to times for the kart to start and keep going and so process would repeat. Do not go here. They are not worth the money at all. Outrageous wait times, terrible machines, Etc. Go to K1 speed and spend your money there.

Brought my son and some buddies for his 14 birthday for some fun. We came under general admission to see if they would like it. We decided to only race two times but they had so much fun, we stayed and ate dinner there too. THEN we decided to race two more! The staff was so friendly, it was super clean and easy to get to. I would highly recommend. What a great place to have some fun.

I've been going to the Addison location on a fairly regular basis for the last 16 months. Today was the first time going on a Sunday, and to my surprise it was rather busy! The staff at the front were wonderful and accommodating with putting us on track 2. The track operator was fantastic. He gave his suggestions on increasing my lap times, made sure to ask me how to pronounce my name correctly, and it was just an overall joy to be on his track. Special shout out to Isaiah. He's a gem!

Very unorganized. They don't tell you anything unless you ask. Cashiers are helpless. The bar is awesome they will actually tell you how the race is. Israel is awesome!

Disorganized but so much fun after the long wait. If they were more organized, I am confident they would be able to tell us exactly how long the wait is, or call us on a beeper, but they don't do that so you have no clue of your wait time which frustrates me. There's a general disrespect for my time. I didn't mind paying $45 for two races, my hertz car rental though was only $35 for whole day. this allowed kids with no license to drive? Not sure this is worth it for an adult with a Tesla or Porsche. Great for kids.

Giving this 3 stars because it was a half and half decision. I planned my husband bday race and everyone that race had so much fun, im glad about that, everyone that came to see them all race ended up frustrated. Hardly any communication for those watching to inform us what track they are racing on so we were grabbing everyone's coat back and forth in that big place so that we can see then.

They said track 1, we moved everyones stuff only to find out they were racing again on track 2. We did the group rate, which includes a little trophy ceremony at the end and that wasn't even mentioned so everyone thought just to leave, end of 2nd race no one knew the score because they had "technical issue", worse was when the cashier came up to me and said that we still owed them $75 dollars, i said that can't be since everyone who paid are given a mask and was for 10 people, she kept arguing and said "come follow me to the register so i can show you how it works" well low and behold. we paid for 10 people and she ended up refunding some money, she just thought i raced and i said i didn't, i told her to look at cameras for proof if she needs to.

As soon i said that she turned super apologetic and changed her demeanor. Poor planning on their end. Regardless how busy they get, they should plan better in advance and be communicative to everyone including the people there that isn't racing.

Our bday experience at K1 speed on bel- red road was truly a terrible experience. First off at checkin, we were told one of the employees never showed up and the manager had to perform many of the roles with only two others. It was pure chaos and incompetenc! I had eleven 9-10year olds who were not engaged. 3 of the children left the facility and I didn't notice til later when I found them down the street!

They did not put in the pizzas until after 6pm (our reserved time was 4:30-6:30) and so we had to Start with cake since again they overbooked and had let multiple parties through before us. Again I understand they were short staffed and they overbooked - but the level of professionalism and their inability to host a bday party (despite k1 advertising bday events) was disappointing and frustrating.

I emailed the rep who helped set up the party and received no response. Not surprised, I have a feeling they only receive complaints and bad reviews. K1 needs to make changes/ improvements at the redmond site or not masquerade as an actual bday site. would've like to have given neg stars but again they probably are accustomed to those already.

The track is too small and the turns are pretty narrow. Almost impossible to pass the slower drivers. They require a $7 membership on top of the race fee. It was about $54 all said and done as they require 2 races. The assistant manager never let us know about the special which gets you a free t-shirt for an extra $2 which sucks. Eithan the track attendant was super cool and deserves a raise. Probably won't come back here because Traxx up north offers a much better experience.

Had a mixup with reserving tickets and time slots online, apparently you can't actually reserve time slots for this location online.even though you actually can do that online. Grace was extremely accommodating to my kid brother, allowing him to race twice when he otherwise would not be able to. Much appreciated!

The place is too small. I went here in a group of 6 and they let 8 people race at once. They say that bumping into each other is not allowed, but the other two people who raced with us bumped into us hard many many times and no one batted an eye. In the second race, they bumped into me so violently that I had to quit the race immediately. I still have pain and bruises on my legs one week later.

Came here on a Wednesday and it wasn't busy at all. Celebrated my wife's birthday here and it was amazing. Staff were friendly patient with us the whole time. Would definitely come back again
