The Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel stands on the grounds where King Kamehameha once resided. It is located in the heart of the historic fishing village of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. The incredible location overlooks Kona's only pristine white sand beach. From the hotel you can see the clear waters of Kailua Bay, the area known as Kamakahonu (meaning "eye of the turtle") and the Kailua Pier, which is world-famous for being the departure pier for the Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament.
The Court Conch Herald and Court Chanter ushers in our Royal Court, representing the personages of King Kamehameha I and his retainers. During this procession you will hear a short narrative history of King Kamehameha I and his Royal Court. The royal personages were ranked from the very highest Kapu chiefs down to those of minor importance.

Such a great experience. The Hawai'ian culture is just so interesting. They honor their past and bring it too us with a wonderful show. All you can eat buffet and drinks (MAI TAI's!) and an incredible show. A must see.

The cast, band, and hostess were fantastic. Their energy and apparent passion was contagious. The storyline of the show told the rich history of the island of Hawaii with a unique mix of Hawaiian hula, Polynesian islands' cultures, and their voyages across the pacific. Tonight's show was thoughtful, intimate, and genuine. Our group was very pleased with the entire experience.

Lots of fun! The food is great and there's more than you could possibly eat, the open bar has awesome Mai Tai's and some local beers, you learn a bit about Hawaiian and Polynesian history and culture, and the dances are very impressive. Tickets are a bit pricey but for everything you get it's worth it.

Fantastic! The food was Hawaiian and delicious. The dancing and music was beautiful. I would like to warn people to avoid doing the holiday luaus. We went New Year's Eve. They charged us more and they were understaffed due to the holiday. We didn't get to see the royal arrival (maybe King Kamehameha had the day off), and there were only five dancers most of the show. Despite this, we still had an excellent time.

Fun experience. A bit cheesy, but entertaining and the food was really good. We were so pleasantly surprised! They handled having a lot of people, especially during Covid, really well - tables spread out; everyone had a good view from what I could tell; buffet tables spread out. drinks were good. they do shut it before the end, but probably not a bad idea. open plenty long. everyone very friendly.

Such a great experience. The food was delicious, as we're the endless drinks. The entertainment was great as well. The fire dancing was the perfect way to end it. We could tell that the dancers were enjoying themselves too which made that much more of a difference to my and I.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the final act, the fire guy, was amazing. The open bar was horrendous, there was little variety and the drinks they did serve were not good. The entertainment was mediocre, dancers weren't even in sync. Definitely not worth the money, much better options on the island at that price point. Suggest doing more research and looking elsewhere. The food was okay but I'm not a big fan of buffets.

Very nice evening dinner and show. Food was great, staff was fantastic. The show had a great mix of history, music, dancing and fun as we spun through a number of different Polynesian cultures. Our kids had at least as good a time as the adults did. Highly recommended.
