Services
Since 1988, the Hot Pursuit Band has been providing live music and wedding entertainment in California. Fronted by a music-loving husband and wife duo, we're always in-sync and ready to perform, leading to a high-energy, fun-filled show for you and your guests. We're available in a full ensemble or as a duo, depending on the size of your event and budget.
It's 1920, and you're in a hidden speakeasy during Prohibition, listening and dancing to a great band called "The Tom Foolery Roaring 20's Band". 1920's drinks are being served, like Bee's Knee's, Gin Rickey, and Mary Pickford. The women look beautiful in their flapper dresses, while the men in their suits and skimmer straw hats look mighty dapper!
Looking for the sounds of the Emerald Isle at your next event? Traditional Irish music is an often-requested favorite, which is why we've put together a group of musicians who are skilled in playing and singing traditional, authentic Irish and Scottish music! We perform on penny whistle, Irish flute, guitar, fiddle, and optional bodhran, bass, and bagpipes or uilleann pipes.
Looking to add a whole lot of energy to your next event? Nothing can match the peppiness and upbeat rhythm of bluegrass music! The Big Mountain Bluegrass Band is ready to play the biggest hits and crowd favorites when it comes to bluegrass and live country music in California. We're familiar with all of the slow country ballads, famous country hits and bluegrass pickin' that makes you want to get up and start clapping. If you're looking for a way to add instant energy to your next get-together or celebration, we're ready to pick up a fiddle!

Hot Pursuit has been providing entertainment for our fundraiser for many years. They are great musicians who engage the audience and turn the entire event into so much fun! They are very professional even when the facilities don't quite get their requests correct. They make due and move on. They provide a wide array of music and you will be pleased you selected them for your event!

Delene and Barry did an outstanding job at our wedding on 10/19/19! We were absolutely thrilled and they exceeded our expectations. Our guests were saying they were the best DJs they've ever heard. And the music never stopped for the 5 hours.thank you for adding to make our wedding reception so exceptional.and performing more songs than I even expected. And what an incredibly beautiful couple they are!

We hired Hot Pursuit Band for our Wedding Ceremony and Reception. The music was beautiful and our guests loved it. We loved the atmosphere the violinist added to our ceremony. It was just what we wanted! We enjoyed customizing our party playlist and it was great since Hot Pursuit also provides a DJ service! We had a lot of fun at the reception and it was because of Delene And Cahill. They are wonderful performers! They are professional and responsive. I highly recommend!

We surly made the right choice hiring Hot Pursuit for our 50th Wedding Anniversary party. Delene and Barry are very professional, accommodating and easy to work with. Our genre of music was the 50's, 60's and classic rock with some country. Delene mixed in our playlist of favorite songs which was very special to us. The highlight was when Delene sang a special request and Barry played his Saxophone, what a musician!
Our guests loved the entertainment and Delene kept the guests informed with announcements and got them up to dance. In our opinion they were certainly the best of those we interviewed and you won't be disappointed if you chose them. J.D. & Marlene

Hot Pursuit has been the entertainment for our non-profit fundraisers for 7 years! We ask them back again each year because they are amazing and they help us to scale our entertainment in keeping with our fundraising goals. They dress in whatever our theme is for the year and are incredibly professional as our "emcees". I have no doubt you will be as pleased as we are with their talent and professionalism!
