Grand Illusions

First visit here the other day. Small but absolutely lovely. The owner and his wife are very kind and helpful. And there was selection everywhere. Fair priced, but a bit easy to miss on the street. Kinda tucked away in a corner but other than that Grand Illusions will be getting my business later on down the line.

This is the best magic shop i have ever visited! Mr. Steve and Mrs. Leora are such nice people. Mr. Steve was telling jokes and teaching tricks. The prices are amazing and the atmosphere is wonderful. Will definitely be coming back many many more times!

I went here looking for some illusions for my son who has expressed an interest in magic. Steve is a very friendly and knowledgeable man. He took time to show several options and explain them. He offers classes that are very reasonably priced. This is a cool little independent shop.

This store is delightfuly filled with magic. The staff are happy to help and knowledgeable in more than ordinary ways. I have personally driven by this place way too many times for me to justify why I had never come here before today. I will visit this place in the, I haven't even started to explore the costume side. Very cool place.

I grew up going to this shop and have a lot of great memories here. I since moved out of state and haven't been back for over 5 years. Today, I was back in town visiting friends in the area and knew that I also had to visit the magic shop! It was extra special because it was the first time my sons (7 and 9) got to visit. I loved watching the wonderment and excitement in their eyes looking through the cases and cases of tricks, and watching the master Steve himself perform the illusions. Steve helped us pick up some kid friendly tricks and we had a blast showing them to friends and family this evening; we even stumped grandpa! Quality illusions and great prices for a specialty shop. Can't wait to visit next time I am back in California.

I love this shop! Been going here since I was a kid. The owners are very helpful and willing to work with you. I always have a blast and come out with exactly what I'm looking for.

This place is awesome and we've taken out boys there for many years now. Steve is so awesome and patient. Now that my son can drive himself, he makes more visits. Let him know if you have job openings. He'd love to work for you! :

This is a fantastic magic and costume shop. Truly a classic Sacramento spot. Family business that's been in this location for many years. I have several friends that rode their bikes to the shop when they were kids, and I love taking my boys here now-a-days as well. You're guaranteed to learn something while you are here, but make sure to buy something.

I have found the more you buy, the more you will learn. It's a magic shop, not a magic show, so let's make sure this family business stays in business for years to come. There's really not many places like it.

This is THE place to go for anything related to costumes, juggling supplies, puppetry, theatrical supplies/makeup, and especially magic. Steve and the staff are super friendly, and make you feel like you're their only customer. Great place for the family to visit and enjoy some entertainment and fun.

Grand Illusions is a hub of Magical activity and interaction in The Greater Sacramento area. They take personal interest in matching new Magicians to Magic that is ATTAINABLE & IMPRESSIVE. They offer quality Magic for Experienced Magicians and will really help pinpoint if an effect will suit your needs (short of giving away the secret). The Lecturers they bring to town are top notch and World Class. Steve, Leora and Don do all they can to support Magic in every way possible.

They have a fine collection of costumes and costume accessories as well. They are open year round and don't just swoop in for fast money at Halloween. This means they know their make-ups and can really help you choose for your particular project with-out over-spending. If you want to help retailers who help their community, these are GOOD people!
