Dottie The Clown

Dottie the clown was just amazing. She made our son's first birthday a memorable event. She captivated all the kids and everyone was just hanging on to her each word. The magic show, balloons was wonderful. She is very personable, friendly and genuinely gets involved in the event.

This is the third time we had Dottie the clown over! It's almost like she is our family clown! She has a great way with the kids. We had her do the magic show once, the puppet show next and the back yard games this time. Every time the kids were very engaged! She shows up on time and checks in the day before. Highly recommend her for your family's events!

I had to find someone last minute for my kid's birthday. With COVID, I wasn't sure if I should have someone over or not and once we decided we did, we called around and I found her on Yelp. She was available with two days notice. Was very nice on the phone. Even nicer in person. She showed up earlier than the party time, set up the games and as kids started coming she engaged them.

It was a small gathering. She engaged everyone with games and magic show. She made balloons for everyone. We dint have to ask her for anything. She had the timing down. Also she is very down to earth. And knows her audience. I am defined going to hire her again. If you are looking for someone that can keep your audience engaged, highly recommend her. Thank you!

This post was from before the pandemic. As our daughters birthday is coming up again we wanted to have Dottie join us again to celebrate. Everyone loved Dottie, especially our daughter who had just turned 1. The puppet show was the best and Dottie's energy was exactly what we needed for the large amount of kids we had. We made the mistake by having a candy bar out and the kids were running wild, but Dottie was so patient and kept all the kids entertained. My daughter had even fell a sleep right before she arrived and Dottie waited until she woke up to start the show. Thank you again, Dottie!

A friend hired her for her daughter's birthday party today. She arrived on time and setup her booth really quickly. She started with face painting and did a fabulous job with distinct designs. The birthday girl was shy, but she loved having Dottie around. She was very patient with the kids. She then started her magic show that kept the kids completely engrossed.

I had Dottie for my daughter's birthday party. She was amazing. We took face painting, magic show and balloons. She was very patient. I know the kids drove her crazy. She was very patient and handled them very well. And she did work lot extra than her timing. It was very nice having her. Thank you so much Dottie.

My kids enjoy magic tricks, so on their birthday, I decided to shop around for someone who could entertain them. Found lots of good folks on Yelp but some of them were out of my budget while for others the duration was short. Dottie stuck a good balance between price and the time she spent entertaining the kids. She has many tricks up her sleeve to keep the kids entertained for a long time.

She is truly a one-woman army to commander the kids' attention. All the kids at the party were thoroughly entertained and my kids said they want to go to clown college when they grow up :-

Dottie came very highly recommended from a good family friend and I could not be happier with her fun and talented services. We hired her for a family reunion at a park and she came ready with a fun outfit, bright attitude to match and well equipped with all the latest face paints and balloons. We had Dottie for magic show and balloon twisting at my daughters unicorn birthday, she did a wonderful job of keeping the kids entertained and had their attention throughout the show. She gave special attention to the birthday girl and made her feel special, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed it. The best part was the ballon's she made, they were so good and colorful. Would recommend Dottie for any kids event.

No wonder Dottie has so many 5* reviews. I met her at an event, and as I was inquiring with many entertainers, for my daughter's 4th birthday party, I found her website very clear with the pricing info. Contacting her was super easy - she is very responsive to emails. On the day of party, she arrived 30 minutes earlier, and did the set up for the facepainting, and she made sure all the kids that wanted to do face painting had done so, before wrapping up.

Her magic show was a huge hit! I thought the kids and parents may be bored, since this has sort of become a standard now at most parties, but many parents told me how patient she was with the kids, and kept them well entertained. She stayed a bit longer too, and was in no rush to leave. Her goals was to make sure all the kids were taken care of. What a lovely person and entertainer! Highly recommend her.

Dottie is the best and pricing was the most reasonable of all the 6 people I reached out to! I had an impromptu party for my 4 year old and emailed her for availability. She responded within a few hours and was flexible is providing me different time options. She got her early to set up and right away Captured the kids attention w cheerful greetings and smiles. Magic and puppet show was super engaging!

Even the adults were entertained. Balloons were great and had all toddlers and pre schoolers giggling. she stayed a little longer to re make ballloons for the kids who lost them to the prickly grass. What a gem. Thank you again for being so amazing!

Dottie is an excellent excellent entertainer. We booked her services for my daughter's first birthday and it was the best thing ever. She is sooo good with the kids. She put up such entertaining shows. Kids loved the balloon twisting, puppet show and magic show. It was the highlight of the party. She is a very nice person also. We had called Dottie for my sons 3rd party and we were so happy we chose her. Our party was hit with the kids enjoying all her entertainment. She made sure each kids is happy and made balloons for everyone that asked. She had a puppet show which involves the kids to participate and also a very nice magic show which made adults as well as kids awww.

I've had Dottie the Clown and her nose for fun at my kids birthday parties for over 10 years! She has a lot of fun with the kids and she keeps them not only entertained but she involves the children in the magic and puppet shows as well as does amazing facepainting! This is a family business that she has been running for over 20 years! She's awesome if you ask me or anyone that knows her she's the bee's kneez!

Dottie is amazing with kids of all age. her puppet show. baloon twisting. was total hit and engaged everyone. I called her on second birthday of my son. she was before time. very patient and adjusted to environment. her setup is really colorful and she herself is a very warm person! I ran into Dottie the Clown by happenstance while picking my sister up from her work. I was only around Dottie for a short time but, it was obvious she loved what she was doing and was great with the kids (and us young at heart adults lol). Any one who knows me knows that I have had a clown phobia since I was little girl. BUT Dottie gave me literally zero creepy vibes.

In fact she had quite the opposite affect on me, I actually felt perfectly at ease around her. She painted my face and made me a balloon toy all with a smile on her face (and not the painted kind a REAL smile lol). Anyways my point is Dottie is great and coming from someone who generally runs the other way when a clown is near that should mean something.

I hired Dottie for my son's 1st birthday and was really happy with her! She is extremely sweetie and the kids loved her! I had kids from 1 to 9 years old and Dottie accomplished the goal of keeping the kids entertained and happy! I recommend her and will definitely hire her again!

Dottie the Clown is amazing with children! I've done business with her two times now and have been a very happy customer. She has come early to set all her things up and always responded quickly. Dottie was a hit at my events and people have come to me for her contact information. When I have another event with several children, I would definitely give her a call.
