I heard a male employee tell the female I was on the phone with to keep me on hold till I hung up so as not to have to answer my questions at 1:30pm about where the bounce house was for my 2pm party.

If I could give 0 star I would. I had my daughters baptism party yesterday and I'm very disappointed in their organization. The entertainers were very nice, it's the management really bad. I had booked them for 90 mins and the office called them saying they had to leave 30 mins early because they have another party to go to. I had 20 kids waiting for the magic show which never happened because the timing was very tight and also there was no coronation for my child.
I spoke with someone over the phone yesterday really quick because I was busy with the party and they were so unprofessional. I called again asking to speak to a manager and asking for a refund and still nobody called back. I DEFINITELY don't recommend them!

DONT BOOK THEM I really wish I had read these reviews before I used clowns.com I called and spoke to Nathan who was very upbeat and positive, I was excited to have a clown team, bouncy, face paint and balloons twists. The bounce house was scheduled to arrive between 8-9am at 9.30am I called to enquire about the delivery, kept on hold for 16 mins. Eventually spoke to Dory who said that the house was on its way with plenty of time and it took 10 minutes to install. It's now 10.50am my party starts at 11am and there is no sign of the characters or the bouncy. I'm still on hold with the bouncy house coordinator, the characters arrive and refuse to start until they get paid but I only have a check for the full amount and now Dory is telling me there is a strong possibility my bounce house won't make it.
I had to pay on a credit card for them to continue. At that point im held hostage by them with 35 kids looking at me. The clown team were excellent, very sweet people and they did a good show. The company is a big SCAM they don't let you pay vie credit card only cash apps so you can't dispute the charge on your cc. They charged $925 of the $1000, where is the discount for the missing bouncy? I will be taking this to the BBB immediately.

They were an hour late to my sons party, didn't even stay the full 2 hours I paid for, they rushed through everything and didn't even play all of the games that were in my contract. I am still waiting to hear back from someone its been almost 2 weeks. Every time I call they keep me on hold for 10+ minutes and no one ever comes to the phone. Worst service!

This company failed to file an Amusement Device Accident Report within 24 hours after their bounce house castle and 24 foot slide collapsed on 6 school children when the generator died 2 hours into our school festival. Festival volunteers had to hoist up the castle flaps to get the children out safely and fortunately no one was physically injured.
We called the emergency into the company immediately and they sent a driver an hour later. By then a volunteer had gone to a nearby gas station and purchased gas to get the generator working again. The company neither acknowledged that we called the day of, nor multiple calls in a row in the following days, nor submitted a claim online. They also said that providing sufficient gasoline for the generator wasn't in the contract.
They won't refund a dime. We've had to get the Department of Consumer Protection involved. George the owner was rude, dismissive, and dishonest. I would look literally anywhere else for an amusement company.

My 2 year old loves toy story. We hired Clowns, appropriately named, to have 2 individuals come dressed as Buzz and Woody for one hour. 1 woman showed up 2 hours late with both costumes. They get a $100 deposit prior to the event. She said the other guy didn't show up. My friend offered to wear the other costume. She called the owner and put him on speaker phone.
His exact words and I quote you will pay for 2 people and both characters for 1 hour and will get 1 person for a half hour and we will pay full price because that's how it goes. Terrible customer service. Completely disappointed in how they handled a situation at a family members party when some of the entertainment didn't show! In this type of business it's supposed to be about customer satisfaction and they lack that. They left kids and the birthday boy disappointed. I would not recommend them.

Don't do any business with them. This business won't go far! We ordered bouncing house for delivery at 10:00 AM on Saturday. It was delivered after 2:00 PM. Setup took another 30 min. The party was almost over at that time. 40 guests were waiting for it and it was a very hot day. The staff told me that they documented the mistake and I will get a partial refund for this. However, they refused!liars! I have ordered your services many times, but with this poor service this will definitely be the last time.

Kami and Vlad were absolutely amazing! They arrived a little before the contracted time. They set up very quickly and we're quick to engage the kids! Nothing phased them and they knew exactly how to keep the kids attention and when to transition to a new activity. They stayed a full hour and truly made the party a blast!

We had such an amazing 1st birthday celebration for our twins and used Clowns.com for entertainment. Sophia, Vlad, & Ivan were professional, on time & prepared, and really engaged all kids and adults at our party. Vlad and Mae was great! They had the kids and adults entertained the whole time. The kids loved the Unicorn and the balloons, the magic tricks were amazing and the games. RUN from them! THE WORST! After over 10 calls and many emails to secure a bounce house for our event, they were 4 hours late bcs they never reserved it for our event after we signed their contract & paid in full upfront $900. Day of event, it took 3 calls ea.1/2 hour wait to get them there. Many, many kids & patents were disappointed/tarnished org for months of promo of a bounce house. Paid for 6 hours. Called for a refund- they require form - said it would take 72 hours for them to review/meaning they will keep our money. Was told owners refuse to speak with clients. Have planned many events over many years, but this by far the worst vendor ever worked with.

I can't say enough about clowns.com. The booking process was quick and easy. When I booked, the original time I wanted was already taken so I chose another. They called me a few days later to tell me they had a cancellation for the time I originally requested. Someone called to confirm all of the details a few days before the party and I received a call the morning of along with a text when our performers were on their way. Andrew and Sabrina were wonderful and are both amazingly talented!
They were high energy, patient, and made sure each child had a great time! Every detail was thought of down to the theme song they played when Daniel Tiger made his appearance. This moment was so magical for my son and I am so grateful for the joy that Andrew and Sabrina brought to his special day! Booked clowns for my son's baptism. My son (6 months old) tested positive for Covid and I had to reschedule the party. All vendors were understanding and gave me no issues. However, this was not the case with this horrible company. They not only took my deposit but charged me the full amount for the party that never happened. I explained I did not want my money back back but just wanted to do a different day.
I was then told I would have to pay an additional 75 dollars and then the full package amount again. Very rude staff and customer service. Do not use for any party you are thinking of having.

Every year we rent a bouncy house for our Brooklyn block party. Clowns did a great job back in 2019. In 2020 we had a deposit down on another one, but we all know how that year went so the deposit was moved to 2021. We were denied a block party in 2021 and I called to have the deposit moved to this year 2022. Just called to speak with them about scheduling that bouncy house and am told after several minutes of being on hold that the deposit doesn't roll over after a second cancellation.
I was given a link to make an appeal, but after reading the recent reviews I think I'm just gonna be happy about only losing $100 deposit. Time to find a new company. Whew!

Had a princess scheduled to come today from 4-5, we get a call at 3:30 that they would be coming 5:30, right when the party was ending. Support agents were not willing to help or sympathetic, and after finally agreeing to have the princess come at 4:45, the rep calls me back to say she cancelled her because she doesnt feel like shel make it on time. My 4 year old granddaughters birthday party was today from 3:30-5:30 we booked clowns.com at least a month ago to do all the entertainment for 15 girls They called my son at 3:20 to say they had car trouble and can't come until 5:20 which is when the party was ending! My son pleaded with them and offered to send an Uber They refused to help in any way and left us with nothing for these girls to do! I never met a more unprofessional unsympathetic company! I hope their business gets shut down!

One star cause there's no ZERO. I've used these clowns in the past and today was a huge disappointment. First I was hung up on, because if you upset any of these characters they throw a tantrum. I had a party of 30 kids so disappointed because they FORGOT cotton candy and when questioned they said it was complimentary only for first booking (even though they charged me $100) which I had to change because of snow (they weren't coming anyway). They stink and don't care about customer service. Skye costume broken too. Couldn't hold up head. Pass on these guys

We had a Barbie Dreamtopia Theme party. What a blast it was. Victoria, Wendell and William were spectacular! They interacted and kept the children entertained from the minute they got there. All the children enjoyed the magic show! They were excited to see the rabbit appear! I have been using Clowns.com for a very long time and the experience has always been exceptional. Faith and Anton went out of their way to make our son feel super special on his 5th birthday. Their dynamic enthusiasm could be felt by all the kids.and parents too! Megan and Jake entertained a wide age range of children (ages 2-11) for my daughter's christening. My Daughters first birthday was suppose to be fun & stress free. It never ends up that way but the experience I had with Clowns was something way more than stressful. When booking I was informed they just received a NEW character Pip (the penguin) from my daughters favorite show & the theme of her party.
I was so excited & asked for a picture which Christian said "We just got it in, no pictures yet but we find the characters that are in demand & get them for you." So of course I said ok that will be the character choice for my daughter's party. I had quite a few guest so my party turned into a block party.

We had Nathan and Michaela at our daughter's first birthday party. Everyone had a blast. We also requested Minnie Mouse as the character and my daughter was in love. Lol. Nathan and Michaela were very animated and had all the children and even adults dancing. Definitely recommending to everyone and they will be our go to entertainment. Seriously the worst experience of my life. They delivered my water slide late. They advertised false dimensions of the slide. Can't get someone who knows what's going on to answer the phone. My slide was supposed to be picked up Sunday at 9am, they never showed. Then by end of day on Sunday and never showed. Then Monday 9am then by 2pm then by 5pm.
Long story short slide was picked up Tuesday at 10am. They are rude and unprofessional. Customer service is awful. Jennifer and Christian are rude and constantly lied on my drop off and pick up times. My grass is ruined. Do yourself a favor and never use them.

TJ and Alyssa were amazing! Everyone left the party saying how great they were and all the kids had a blast! They were so patient and just really full of energy from beginning to end. They kept all the kids engaged and moved through all the activities with the right pace. Thanks for making a very memorable birthday for my son (and us)!

WARNING For my daughter's first birthday party we rented a water slides for the children. Clowns.com and they showed up 2 hours after the party began (our party was 4 hours) and with the wrong slide. A slide meant for adults. When I called this afternoon to address the issue they stated "ok, sorry" that was all and then procced with "you should of rejected the slide" "what else do you want me to do I can't read your mind" This is the WORST customer service I have ever seen and so unprofessional. Stay far away!

Just wanted to say that the owner saw my review & offered to rectify the situation. Told him I would get back to him once I'm ready. Called today to schedule something & try to restore my faith in them & he did not uphold his offer. He said he can't do it because it's been 1 year. I mean, really? What a terrible way to do business. Was I supposed to have another party while restrictions for covid were in full effect? Extremely disappointed.

Horrible, -- although my daughter prepaid and had a confirmation from this company, the power ranger that was supposed to come to my grandson's party today, never showed up. When my daughter finally got through to somebody on the phone, they said there was some type of miscommunication. How very disappointing and bad business. They are NOT reliable.

My rating is for the company itself and not the performer. I wanted to hire a bearded Santa for my party and was comparing my options. This place will call and text you multiple times every day. I replied back and asked if they had a real bearded Santa, they told me yes and to check the site. There wasn't a bearded Santa on the website so they sent me a picture.
I went ahead and booked them with the cost being on the higher end of the range if everyone who sent me a quote but i went ahead with them just because we were already speaking so it was convenient. I had an unfortunate experience with them, that left me feeling discouraged and humiliated. Was rushed, pressured, and belittled. I wanted to do something special for my friend's son's first birthday by sending a fun character to their home. I wanted to know how a "character meet and greet with face painting and dancing" could happen under social distancing measures and I was laughed at. Asked several more times in different ways.no definitive specifics were mentioned. The rep just kept saying, "Like I said, I just need a $100 deposit, and it will be taken care of!"

I find it disgusting that Clowns.com expects that families should go forward with having their parties despite mandatory COVID-19 rules that there be no social gatherings in NYS of any kind. BTW, it's a $1,000 fine for anyone not following these rules; does Clowns.com anticipate on paying that fine, since they refuse to honor a cancellation due to the virus?
You are NOT an essential service, you are obligated to allow a cancellation without a fee to families that have to cancel so no one they love gets sick or dies. You are making families believe that other clients are going through with their parties during a pandemic (not true) and therefore forcing THEM to be the ones who cancel so you don't have to give them their deposit back. Casey and Blake were absolutely amazing! I’ve had several parties for my daughter and booked entertainment for each and out of all of them this company was truly the best. Their Moana and Maui costumes were truly awesome and looked like the real characters. Their energy and patience with the kids was outstanding. My daughter and all of the kids really enjoyed themselves. I’ll be booking them for all my future events!

Was nervous picking a clown/magician out for my daughters 1st birthday party as it was my 1st time hiring someone. So hard to choose with mixed reviews but decided to go with them as a coworker used them in the past with success. Let me say both jean and Tyler did a great job yesterday. They showed up early and got straight to entertaining the kids.
They did great job with face painting and balloon animals. Didn't even complain when the kids popped some of the balloons and then requested another one. They showed up as Elsa and Kristoff and they stayed in character the whole time. Would definitely recommend and will use them in the future.

I definitely recommend Clowns.com! My daughter and her friends had such a great time. This is the second time that I have hired them for her birthday and it always has been a wonderful experience. Gina and Neal were both so great and they always kept the children captivated. Their performance was very entertaining for the children and we all had a great time! I would definitely recommend this to other parents who want their children’s birthdays to be remembered due to a positive and fun experience.

We had Xander and Alexa as our entertainers for my son Benjamin’s 7th Birthday. From beginning to end, Xander and Alexa, were able to engage with the children. They brought the music, and kept the kids laughing and having fun! Cotton candy, face painting, a magic show and balloon twisting! Xander and Alexa must be great friends because they had a great chemistry- and you just knew they love what they do! My son is still talking about when can Robin from the Teen Titans come back and see him!!! Will be calling on Clowns.com again soon!

Tiana and Werno are amazing! They were very punctual, professional and extremely entertaining at our daughter's 4th birthday. Even the adults were laughing and entertained at the magic show. We have used clowns.com in the past as well and have always been very happy! We look forward to using them again for future events.

Absolutely love these guys! They are super friendly, affordable and have great availability! Marina and Reed came by to my house on a Saturday in the evening to my sons first birthday party! They definitely made sure every minute was full of fun! I honestly think the adults had just as much fun as the kids! Do not second guess they are the best : Thank you guys for making my sons birthday party special

Casey and Matt were amazing. I had them for my daughter’s 1st birthday party. We had over 25 kids of all ages and each kid was entertained and engaged. Everything from the face painting to balloon animals to the dancing and parachute time to Minnie’s appearance was incredible. They really made the party! I would use them again in a heartbeat.

My 4 year old had an amazing birthday party!! the entertainers were amazing and very engaged not only with the little ones but also with the grown ups!! I've never seen my boy so happy!! everything was perfect: the games, the cotton candy, the bubbles, the face painting, the magic show!! the kids enjoyed every minute of it; the show was fun from the beginning to the end. Thank you so much for such a wonderful time!! Highly recommended!!!

I first saw clowns. com performers at a friend's kid's birthday party last summer. When I planned my son's birthday this summer I called them for pricing and they were the most reasonable! I had lots of questions and the few phone reps that I spoke to (I called a few times) were wonderful and patient. Everything was exactly as expected and more! I wish I remembered the names of the clowns that came to my party- they were SUPERB.
They were attentive to the children, making sure everyone who wanted got balloons and face painting and cotton candy. They interacted so well with all the children, all the while making sure the birthday boy was the center of attention. They even made sure to check with me when it would be okay to serve the cotton candy. My son was enthralled from the moment they arrived ( they were very prompt) until the moment they left. Thank you for a job well done!

Took my daughter to the Beginnings Frozen party this weekend and Katie was “Elsa” . It was honestly magical! She made sure each kid feel special - better than our Elsa at Disney World. Beginnings has had CLOWNS.COM at multiple events and it has been awesome. ( they have great Christmas parties) We are looking forward to having CLOWNS at our daughter’s party in June!

We just celebrated our sons 1st birthday and had the pleasure of having Katie and Greg as our clowns. They were tremendous and engaging all the kids, no less ours. Katie crushed the face painting and everyone was stunned at how good they were and she did them quickly. My daughter got like 7 different things painted on her arm and face. She loved it. Great entertainment for a kids birthday. Would highly recommend.
