The Arioso String Quartet is based in the Philadelphia area and includes southern New Jersey and Delaware. We travel up to 80 miles from center city Philadelphia. Arioso offers the standard string quartet (two violins, viola and cello), a string trio (violin, viola and cello) and a string duo (violin and cello). You may substitute a flute for one violin in any group for no additional charge, or add a trumpet for your wedding ceremony. Arioso members are experienced professional musicians, and are among the highest caliber in the area.

Arioso was everything we hoped for and more. They added just the right touch to our daughters wedding. We had some special requests for songs at the church they were not familiar with and they went above and beyond to learn the music and make the songs special for us. I already told them we wish we had more daughter's weddings to plan.
Arioso often books dates over a year in advance. Therefore, due to the busy nature of Arioso's schedule, we recommend that you contact Carol Briselli via email or by phone (877-492-7237) to determine whether the date in which you are interested is still available. Arioso schedules performances in half-hour increments, with a one hour minimum.
All musicians dress in formal concert attire: tuxedos for men and black dresses or skirts and blouses for women. The fee is calculated from the time we start at the ceremony until the time we end at the reception. If there is travel time between the two, that is included in the fee. Yes, we do, provided the music is available for purchase.
