We feature a variety of musicians and musical groups ranging from solo instrumentalists to a band with 12 people! We use the absolute finest musicians available in the southcentral Alaska area and try hard to get the best band or soloist for the customer's budget and musical taste. We have successive pages where you can playback music samples for many of our bands. Live music can be used to soothe and relax, to entertain, to excite, to evoke a mood, to make people want to dance. Think about what your objectives are and plan accordingly. An exciting live band is great entertainment for after dinner, but their music must be subdued if played during cocktails or dinner.
A wedding has two phases - the ceremony and the reception - and they can both be significantly enhanced by carefully chosen music. The environment for the reception is often quite different than the ceremony and may dictate a different set of musicians; however, it's sometimes possible to utilize some of the same musicians for both and save money.
