A Child's Joy Party Entertainment The safety of your children is the most important concern we have at A Child's Joy. You've seen videos of unsecured Bounces flipping over. Water Slides are tall and if they are not properly installed can be unstable and put children at risk. Its imperative you're doing business with a properly licensed and insured legitimate company that has trained employees who care about the safety of your children and your guests. Don't settle for "a guy my friend knows" who rents cheap uninsured older inflatables out of his garage to make extra cash on the weekends.

When you signup join our referral program and send people you know to do business with us you'll earn a $10 credit for each person who has their party or event with us. When it's time for your next party you'll have that credit waiting for you to spend. There is no limit either, meaning if three friends you refer have a party with us before your next party date you'll have $30 to use towards what ever you like.

No, we offer our rentals all over the state so our costs differ depending upon where we have to go to reach you. If you are having multiple items, be sure to speak with us because sometimes we can combine several items on the same truck or trailer to save you money.
Membership in the Birthday Club is always free and there is no minimum membership commitment, you may cancel at any time. Not a worthy company. Delivered a bounce house with a broken cord that wouldn't stay inflated. Told us it wasn't their job to come back and run the bounce house when we called them. Finally came back after much pleading to fix their broken cord, meanwhile half our party is over. Never again giving these people business

Our community throws Spring and Fall Festivals and has for years. I used to use another company and they were ok, but I love working with Laurie and the crew at A Child's Joy. They are on time- often early, efficient, friendly and fun. The petting zoo is always a hit with adults and kids! Excited to work with them again for next time

Horrible and unprofessional whoever was texting back which was probably Laurie because I called before text and it was her voicemail was rude! I didn't have an exact address at the moment and wanted to know pricing and if the date I wanted for my daughter event was available. Once I got an adress the next day and informed they never wrote back untill Tuesday stating my zip was wrong which even if was wrong or not shouldn't have taken three days to respond.

What an enchanted beautiful Unicorn Pony Birthday! Laurie was extremely sweet to work with! She brought a beautifully decorated pony to our daughters 9th Birthday! She was professional and on time. Laurie was incredibly sweet she interacted with all the girls an gave them multiple pony rides. She helped pose the pony with everyone. She even let the girls feed him carrots. Thank you for helping to make the best memories! You made the day so special! Thank you so much we can't to have you back again!

This company should receive 0 stars. The interaction I had with Laurie was absolutely appalling. I have never once in my life been yelled by the owner of a company, until now. I worked with Laurie on renting a bounce house for my daughter's birthday party. The City of Chandler required insurance documentation from A Child's Joy, and there was a pretty tight deadline because of the holidays.

When I tried to get Laurie's cooperation she got extremely nasty with me and yelled at me over the phone. When I asked her why she was getting angry with me, she offered no explanation and continued to yell at me and vent to me about "how busy I am, and I guess I will just stop what I am doing and go get those documents for you right now!" She was incredibly rude and unaccommodating, so I cancelled my reservation with her and hired another company for much cheaper.

While trying to cancel my reservation she argued with me and refused to refund my deposit despite the contract stating I am entitled to a refund. Not once did I receive an apology for her behavior either. Please do not give this woman your money, there are plenty of event rental places that are cheaper, will provide a generator for you, and will not speak to you in the manner Laurie did to me. She should not be running a business.

Working with A Child's Joy was a great experience for our organization. We rented, inflatables, a dunk tank, carnival booths and the petting zoo. Laurie's team was hard working through the entire setup process, providing us with everything we needed for a successful event. After our event, her team did an excellent job of tearing down and cleaning up. Laurie's team could not have done a better job for us!

Worse customer service EVER, person replying to my texts messages kept ignoring me instead of just telling me they were NOT AVAILABLE! Talking about let me verify start times of events and routes. NEVER did that person get back to me even though I kept texting them asking for updates. I wouldn't even think about reaching out to them if I were you. I wish I could do ZERO stars.

Such a great party experience! My 4 year old daughter said she wanted to ride a pony for her 4th birthday, we initially thought about going horseback riding somewhere in the valley but during my google mission I came upon A Child's Joy & I am sooo happy I did! $165 for a pony rental that is a steal! I would have paid 3x that at some amusement park for just an hour.

Plus all the great upgrades from regular jumpy houses to water slides & slip & slides we found everything we needed in one place for a great price under $400! They called Thursday evening to let us know our slide could be delivered Friday and we could get it for an extra day which was Awesome unfortunately we did not get to take advantage of the slide for the extra day due to running around last minute party things but I did not have to worry about what time it would be arriving the day of the party.

We scheduled our pony's arrival to start at 4:30 pm & he was RIGHT on time. So perfect! Trigger was such a beauty & so sweet & soft. We had some rough winds during our pony rides but he was GREAT! Everything from scheduling to picking out the right size water slide for my toddler was so easy & the owner was very helpful and responsive to my texts & emails. Thank you for everything. =

Great company! Laurie was pleasant, accommodating, and very professional. On the day of our big pony party 2/1 we realized we made an error and did not order a second table. We called laurie and she was able to send one out with our pony with no issues whatsoever. The bounce house was clean and appealing to the eye. We all loved Fiona the pony, she was calm, she did well with all the wild kids running around, and she was absolutely beautiful.

She came prepared, decked out in her unicorn gear with bows in her mane. Delivery staff were pleasant and knew exactly what they were doing. Our pony guide introduced us to Fiona and let us feed her just a few carrots (not too many so she wouldn't get a belly ache). The price was insanely reasonable. A Child's Joy will be highly recommended by me! Thank you Laurie and staff for everything you did to make my daughters pony party absolutely perfect! We'll be back next year. Melissa, Leo, and Sierra

I had such an awesome experience working with A Child's Joy! We wanted a petting zoo for my son's first birthday party and these guys were so helpful from the get-go. Laurie was not only helpful with booking, but gave me great ideas for the party- even what kind of theme or drinks or food that she thought would work! I especially loved the emails I received on the days leading up to the event reminding me about things I may have forgotten for the party.

The day of the event was seamless. The animals were brought in early, everything was set up and broken down quickly, and our helper for the day (forgive me, I forget his name) was so knowledgeable about all the animals. We had the best time and I would absolutely use A Child's Joy again in the future. Highly recommend!

A Child's Joy was great to work with for my son's birthday party! We did the package with the jumping castle, petting zoo, and pony rides. The owner was very responsive and worked with us to time the delivery of everything right, she even gave us extra time with the jumping castle! She went above and beyond and worked with the park to make sure all approvals were ready to go and that they would approve our event. Basically, she tried to make it as stress free as possible.

The gentleman who delivered the animals and the jumping castle was very nice and patient with the kids, and on time. Highly recommend working with them to make your event special, everyone had such a good time!

It's unfortunate that I have to post this review. I gave feedback to the owner, Laurie, and she didn't respond accordingly so I'm left to share my experience for other customers. I reserved a bounce house and table/chairs for a birthday party on Sat. 12/1. I questioned the $25 trip charge since we are also in Laveen, and she updated my invoice with the $25 credited.

On Wed. 11/28, I cancelled the bounce house (since it was going to be cold on Sat.) and Laurie received the cancellation request on Thurs. 11/29. She was very accommodating and during that email exchange, I asked if a pony ride could be scheduled instead. She gave me some options, 1:30-2:30 or earlier or 5-6pm. I chose 5-6pm since the party started at 3pm.

On Sat., I reviewed the updated invoice and saw that the trip charge was applied again, and it's this part that gets very frustrating since much of it doesn't make sense. When I emailed Laurie about it, she replied that the change to my order now required another trip (one to set up the table/chairs, one for the pony ride, one to pick up table set), so I asked her if they could just take the table/chairs when the pony person leaves so another trip out wouldn't be required, and she said yes.

It wasn't until after the party ended that I saw another email from Laurie I had missed earlier outlining that the system applied the trip charge because my order didn't qualify for the particular $25 promo she used and that the trip charge applies to different drivers (?) and not the amount of trips (?) as she responded with earlier. so now the rules are different because I eliminated the extra trip she originally said was the reason (?).

I emailed Laurie back and expressed my disappointment that her explanation is now different and I wish I would have known that. however, system or not, she should have just credited the trip charge since it makes no matter to a customer if it's a different driver. In my response to Laurie after the party, I also provided feedback on the whole pony ride experience: - They were almost an hour late (5:50) and it was dark by the time the kids were able to ride the pony.

So all pictures are in the dark. - The driver commented almost immediately on how the pony had done 4 other parties prior and is probably tired so I'm now nervous kids will be left disappointed. - During the pony ride, we had to give water and carrots to the pony because I felt so bad for her. Why they didn't already have that for the pony is just beyond me. - The pony pooped twice, and since it was dark, I had to place trash bags on them so kids/parents wouldn't step on them. Again, probably not a problem if it wasn't dark already. - The driver took a long time to clean up, pack up, and load up so we ended up packing the table/chairs and watching the pony while she had handled other things.

It was clearly evident that a second pony person is required to help with the items one person can't do while trying to manage the pony and pony rides. In Laurie's response I read today, there is NO accountability at all. She apologized they were late but blamed traffic, etc, and proceeds to passively imply that my experience is a result of a last minute change to the reservation (not sure how a change request on 11/28 is considered last minute on a party for 12/1!). so the trip charge is due to the different drivers assigned (again, wasn't the first explanation given), and she was 'amazed' the pony person actually was able to 'squeeze' us in last minute and proceeded with the event even though it was so late. okay. they are the ones who provided me with the 5-6pm slot as if it's a regular time slot!

If there's a chance the pony ride could be canceled from them, that should be disclosed ahead of time. All in all, Laurie's responses either don't make sense or is just unacceptable from a customer's perspective. I've ordered from them before and had no issues, but it's when you do have a problem that you see how truly good a company is in how they handle the issue/s. Clearly, they need some work in this area.

I was really interested in using this company for my daughter's birthday beginning of August but when I tried booking online the site kept glitching while browsing their packages and trying to book. With the three kids running around I got frustrated and gave up. I'm honestly pretty picky when it comes to choosing companies based on the first impression of their sites functionality.

If a site isn't well maintained I personally lose trust in the product/service. I couldn't successfully book online so I went with a different company with a better designed site. I do like that they have petting zoo and from what I was able to see the animals look clean and healthy and the pen is secure so in the future I'll give them another try but will skip attempting to book online.

I know you're probably saying "just call" but that's not an option with the kids running around and our apartment has horrible signal which is why easy online booking is so important to me.

Not their fault. My wife wanted a cotton candy machine for our daughter's party. She agreed with one day rental for $165. That is insane. I can buy a commercial machine for less than that. When they picked it up I asked about the charge and man said, "it is pricey". I agreed and he said "it is what it is". They are taking advantage of people. Where have morals and ethics gone? Caveat Emptor I suppose.

Have yet to even use their services, but can say that after a day of speaking with many bounce house companies. getting Laurie on the phone was a breath of fresh air. She was so informative, kind. and after speaking with her I forgot I had even considered going with anyone else. She had exactly what I wanted, at a great rate. And was so accommodating with our schedule. I am looking forward to leaving another review on their services after experiencing drop off, pick up, and their product. I anticipate it will be a great experience.

We loved working with A Child's Joy to bring a PETTING ZOO! to our daughters 3rd Birthday Party - she loves animals so this was a perfect addition. The set-up & tear-down was quick, there was no mess left for us to clean up, and the employee & animals were kind and patient with all of the kids - especially my three & five year old who insisted on trying to catch & hold every new little friend the ENTIRE time.

The bunnies & chubby goat were our favorite! My only suggestions would be for the employee to be aware of mama's trying to take pictures & step off to the side so we can get them without someone holding a bucket & scoop for poop in the background (totally necessary though!). I was still able to get my pictures & am confident that if I had asked the employee he would have gladly moved. :) We'll definitely use them again. Thanks A Child's Joy!

Our party was a big hit with the pony and petting zoo combo. We did 2 1/2 hours there were about 30/40 kids and they all got to ride the pony multiple times. The petting zoo was super cute and the people running it were very nice. The only reason I'm not putting 5 starts is because I had to call over 5 times leave 4 days worth of voicemails before anyone returned my call which can be very scary/frustrating when your relying on their services as the primary entertainment for your event. If it weren't for that I would definitely have rated 5 stars.

The bounce house was nice and it seemed clean. Unlike how a previous employee left a review saying they're never cleaned. I had days of going back and forth between the city of Peoria and Laurie the owner. I reserved a bounce house 7 + weeks in advance and she assured me that they do business with the city of Peoria all the time and I would have no problems having a bounce house at a community park in the city of Peoria.

Well the party was planned for a Sunday and the city called me Friday when they were printing permits for the weekend to tell me that " a child's joy" insurance cert was expired. Laurie forwarded me the information in an email. But that's not was the city wanted. I'm not a bounce house rental professional i don't know what information or requirements you need.

That's for you to handle not me. The city was telling me that they we're not an approved vendor and no bounce house would be allowed, so on and so forth. I kept calling Laurie and every time she seemed more irritated with me like I was bothering her. Oh I'm sorry that I am paying you to provide a service for me and your paper work with they city is not up to date.

You knew 7 almost 8 weeks in advance. Weather it was the city that was incorrectly informed or " a child's joy" I would never expect the customer to handle the problem nor would I give them attitude. I was extremely frustrated and worried that my sons birthday would be ruined. I had to basically beg the park ranger to allow us to keep the bounce house up and had to wasted of an hour talking to him and being on the phone with her the day of the party while I was trying to set up.

The girl that delivered the bounce house was super nice and understanding. 3 stars for poor customer service on the owners part. Do you research before hand if you have plans for anything other than your back yard. I had a bad experience a doubt that I will ever plan for a bounce house again, through a child's joy or some one else.

I really wanted this place to work out for my daughter's birthday. But after trying to get in contact with them for A WEEK and not getting any response back, I've decided to go somewhere else. I was going to book a pony and petting zoo party, but if their commitment to actually making it to the event is anything compared to the lack of customer service while attempting to book a party? I'm not sure it's a reliable choice.

A Child's Joy has provided the entertainment for three (3) of my large scale commercial events and they have been superb! Their attention to every detail has been SPOT -On in every way. They are prompt, delightful, professional, and they clean up all the mess that any animals might leave behind. Their animals are well-treated, sweet animals that you can tell are loved at home.

We rented a waterslide and snow cone machine for our daughter's 5th birthday party in June. Laurie was very professional and kind when setting up the appointment. The delivery was a very efficient and pleasant experience! I appreciated the email I received allowing me to pay online rather than at the party! The waterslide was the perfect addition to swimming and it wasn't too hot as I feared it would be! I would recommend A Child's Joy to anyone hosting a party for little ones!

Thank you so much! The baby animal experience was wonderful! The animals and handler arrived on time and set-up was super easy and simple. He kept the ground very clean and all of the kids had a blast. After they left, you couldn't even tell that they had been there. This was a great experience and it made our daughter's second birthday so special for her!

Our 3rd time using this outfit. I booked a last minute slip n slide for teens bday. Laura was very professional, courteous and accommodated our block of time but also allowed us to keep overnight for free. Prices very competitive, slide was in excellent shape and kids had a blast. Lots of thanks to the installer as well as folks that picked up. Very professional and kind.

The company did not return phone calls in a timely manner or allow me to pay in the manner in which I chose (PayPal). In addition, the balloonist was late and only there for a fraction of the time promised. They also did not send an update for changes made to my invoice without my knowledge.

Personnel on site was rude and late to finish installation. Event began over 90 minutes late as a result of the installation delay. Personnel on the phone attempted to blame my school site for the delay, offered many excuses. (None of the excuses were that the crew was eating breakfast in their truck instead of blowing up equipment, which is what actually happened.) This is the 2nd year that we have worked with A Child's Joy. We will not continue to do this in the future. Absolute fail.

Jim, the delivery guy, did an amazing job! He was very nice, courteous and even helped my sister unload her grill! This is the second time I've used A Child's Joy and it has been an awesome experience! I never had any issues with the service or payment. I am most definitely using this company again! Laurie and her team are fabulous! I called a few places on a Wednesday night for a Saturday birthday party rental and left all voicemails. Less than 10 minutes later Laurie called back and we booked the bounce house I wanted! They arrived on time, house was clean and perfect! We were even able to keep it overnight at no extra charge! Will definitely be using them for all my future rentals!
